  • Patent number: 8831232
Abstract: An anti-noise earmuff device includes an audio signal processor unit, a Bluetooth module, an audio mixer unit and an amplifier unit. The audio signal processor unit is arranged in the earmuffs for control audio signal output, protecting the user's eardrums against noise of high-decibel level. The Bluetooth module receives or communicates with a mobile communication device through an antenna, allowing the user to listen to the music and to communicate with people outside without needing taking off the earmuff device.

  • Patent number: 7248706
Abstract: An audio-signal detecting device to be disposed in a user's earmuffs for protecting his eardrums against noise of high-decibel level is comprised of a receiving unit, a first audio-signal amplifying unit, a second audio-signal amplifying unit, a peak-detecting and inverting unit, a first amplifying unit, a peak-detecting unit, a first switch, a delay unit, a second amplifying unit, a second switch, a third switch, an adjusting unit, a third audio-signal amplifying unit, and an output unit. In keeping communicable with outside world, when a noise greater than a predetermined decibel level is detected, this device is supposed to attenuate or reject it temporarily, then, after an RC-constant time period, recover to communicate automatically.
