  • Publication number: 20230281723
Abstract: In an illustrative embodiment, systems and methods for monitoring insurance claims include identifying, based on predetermined monitoring frequency, insurance claims identified for vulnerability detection processing. Vulnerability detection features may be extracted from data files of the claims, which provide an indication of claim handling deficiencies that can cause claim leakage. A trained vulnerability detection data model can be used to detect claim handling vulnerabilities within the extracted vulnerability detection features where each of the vulnerabilities may include a likelihood of the vulnerability resulting in claim leakage. The vulnerability detection data model may be trained with a data set customized to a respective insurance provider for each claim. Vulnerability scores indicating an overall likelihood of claim leakage can be calculated for the claims based on the detected claim handling vulnerabilities.

  • Publication number: 20200265371
Abstract: An example server fills driver positions for a job. The server is to create a job owned by a head dispatcher including a total number of driver positions; send, to an intermediary dispatcher, a confirmation request to confirm an assignment of the intermediary dispatcher to fill an intermediary number of the total number of driver positions; responsive to an affirmative response, store a dispatcher association between the intermediary dispatcher and the intermediary number of driver positions; create an intermediary job owned by the intermediary dispatcher, the intermediary job including the intermediary number of driver positions to fill; receive driver assignments from the head dispatcher and the intermediary dispatcher; store, based on the driver assignments, driver associations between driver identifiers and the driver positions; and output a driver roster indicating driver information for the driver in each driver position.

  • Patent number: 10133472
Abstract: System, method, and computer program product to generate a clip of a media file on a device having a touch input component, the media file comprising a plurality of segments, by outputting for display a first segment of the media file, responsive to receiving: (i) input indicating to generate the clip of the media file using the first segment, and (ii) a first swipe gesture on the touch input component: identifying a subset of segments, of the plurality, based on a direction of the first swipe gesture, the first subset of segments including a destination segment, and outputting for display each of the subset of segments, and responsive to receiving input selecting the destination segment as part of the clip of the media file, generating the clip of the media file, the media clip including each segment of the media file between the first and the destination segment.

  • Patent number: 7430316
Abstract: An example method uses a spectrophotometer to collect reflectance curve data from a physical sample colored to a desired color. The reflectance curve data is employed to produce computer display outputs of substrates as they would be appear if colored with the desired color. The method includes using a colorimeter to collect calorimetric data from the outputs on the display. The sets of colorimetric data are compared and data that facilitate manipulating the reflectance curve data associated with the desired color is produced. The synthetic reflectance curve data facilitates producing matches for the various substrates as colored and displayed on the computer display. The synthetic reflectance curve data may also be used to manipulate colorant formulae.
