Publication number: 20240129821Abstract: A method for switching routing in a low-earth-orbit satellite network, being adapted to a user terminal (UT), includes the following. Routing information is generated by the UT. The routing information is installed into a first routing table of a first satellite. The routing information is installed into a second routing table of a second satellite by the UT. The routing information of the first routing table is updated to relay information by the UT. The relay information corresponds to the second satellite. Handover from the first satellite to the second satellite is performed by the UT.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 22, 2023Publication date: April 18, 2024Applicant: Industrial Technology Research InstituteInventors: An-Dee Lin, Hua-Lung Tsai, Ching-Chun Chou

Patent number: 7448915Abstract: An improved power supply terminal to prevent defects and output voltage drop of the power supply and reduce the total cost, and to bridge a power supply connector and insertion slots of a mainboard includes twenty-four first coupling slots on an upper end and twenty or twenty-four second coupling slots on a lower end. The coupling slots are opposing each other and not connected by conductive wires. Thereby it can be coupled with different types of power supply connectors and mainboard insertion slots. Defects and output voltage drop of the power supply can be prevented. Due to no conductive wires and separated design of the coupling slots and the coupling pins is not necessary, molding, material, and fabrication and assembly costs are reduced.Type: GrantFiled: March 14, 2006Date of Patent: November 11, 2008Assignee: Topower Computer Industrial Co., Ltd.Inventor: Ching-Lin Chou

Publication number: 20070143634Abstract: A power supply system for personal computers aims to provide an additional sub-power supply needed when a personal computer requires a power greater than what can be provided by the original main power supply. This invention provides a sub-power supply in the spare space of the existing chassis of the personal computer without removing the main power supply to augment the power supply. The starting power of the sub-power supply is provided by the main power supply. Hence when the personal computer is in the machine stop condition, only the main power supply consumes electric power. Thereby this invention can preserve a green power.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 16, 2005Publication date: June 21, 2007Inventors: Ching-Lin Chou, Michael Chen, Chin-Szu Lee

Publication number: 20070053126Abstract: A power supply equipped with an independent overload protection mechanism includes a transformation circuit which consists of a plurality of transformers for transforming AC power to DC power. Each transformer has a front end connecting to a power switch. All the power switches are connected to a pulse-width modulation (PWM) controller. Each power switch and the PWM controller are bridged by a switch circuit which is electrically connected to a protection circuit to monitor whether an electronic device is overloaded. In the overload condition, the protection circuit outputs a protection signal to the switch circuit to stop or suspend the DC power cord from delivering electric power to drive the electronic device at the rear end. Hence an independent overload protection can be achieved.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 2, 2005Publication date: March 8, 2007Inventor: Ching-Lin Chou

Publication number: 20070053125Abstract: A power supply equipped with an independent overload protection mechanism includes a control circuit and a transformation circuit that form multiple sets of combination circuits for transforming AC power to DC power. Each control circuit is connected to a protection circuit which monitors overload operation conditions of an electronic device. In the event that an overload condition occurs, the protection circuit outputs an individual protection signal to the control circuit to stop or suspend power output on a DC power cord so that the electronic device at the rear end is not driven. Hence an independent overload protection can be achieved.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 2, 2005Publication date: March 8, 2007Inventor: Ching-Lin Chou

Publication number: 20060205282Abstract: An improved power supply terminal to prevent defects and output voltage drop of the power supply and reduce the total cost, and to bridge a power supply connector and insertion slots of a mainboard includes twenty-four first coupling slots on an upper end and twenty or twenty-four second coupling slots on a lower end. The coupling slots are opposing each other and not connected by conductive wires. Thereby it can be coupled with different types of power supply connectors and mainboard insertion slots. Defects and output voltage drop of the power supply can be prevented. Due to no conductive wires and separated design of the coupling slots and the coupling pins is not necessary, molding, material, and fabrication and assembly costs are reduced.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 14, 2006Publication date: September 14, 2006Inventor: Ching-Lin Chou
