  • Patent number: 9939715
Abstract: A projection device is disposable into a display platform of a display rack having a plurality of display platforms, for directly projecting an image frame onto a projection screen of the display platform. The image frame projected to the projection screen is not reflected by any reflective mirror arranged between the projection device and the projection screen. A length of the image frame in a first direction is equal to at least ten times a length of the image frame in a second direction. Since no reflective mirror is arranged between the projection device and the projection screen, the projection device is more easily applicable to display racks.

  • Patent number: 9084226
Abstract: A femto access point (FAP) for use in a network system and a communication method for the femto access point are provided. A mobile station is wirelessly connected to the FAP. The FAP comprises a storage unit, a sniffer unit, and a process unit. The sniffer unit sniffs a packet of the mobile station. The process unit retrieves an identity (ID) code of the mobile station from the packet and stores the ID code into the storage unit. The process unit further establishes an uplink local area network (LAN) service flow and a downlink LAN service flow of the mobile station. The uplink LAN service flow and the downlink LAN service flow established by the FAP and the mobile station are used to transfer packets within the LAN.

  • Patent number: 8681756
Abstract: An anchor gateway, a communication method and a tangible machine-readable medium are provided. The anchor gateway is for use in a WiMAX network comprising an authentication gateway and a serving base station (BS). After a mobile station (MS) enters the WiMAX network, the anchor gateway will request the authentication gateway and the serving BS according to an identification of the MS to respectively provide authentication key context and medium access control context. Thereby, the network latency, which is made by the MS in handover, will be reduced effectively.

  • Patent number: 8654102
Abstract: An optical touch system includes a non-visible light source, a screen, a first and second polarizing elements, and an optical detector. The non-visible light source emits a non-visible beam. A part of the non-visible beam passes through the screen disposed in a light path of the non-visible beam. The touch object reflects the part of the non-visible beam into an object beam when a touch object approaches or touches the screen, and the object beam passes through the screen. The first polarizing element is disposed in the light path of the non-visible beam and between the non-visible light source and the screen. The optical detector is disposed in a light path of the object beam, and senses the object beam. The second polarizing element is disposed in the light path of the object beam passing through the screen and between the screen and the optical detector.
