Abstract: An image sensor is provided. The image sensor includes a substrate and isolation structures disposed on the substrate. The isolation structures are electrically non-conductive and define pixel regions. The image sensor also includes electrodes disposed on the substrate and in direct contact with the isolation structures. The image sensor further includes an active layer disposed between the isolation structures. Moreover, the image sensor includes an encapsulation layer disposed over the active layer. The image sensor also includes a color filter layer disposed over the encapsulation layer.

Abstract: An integrated circuit package including electrically floating metal lines and a method of forming are provided. The integrated circuit package may include integrated circuit dies, an encapsulant around the integrated circuit dies, a redistribution structure on the encapsulant, a first electrically floating metal line disposed on the redistribution structure, a first electrical component connected to the redistribution structure, and an underfill between the first electrical component and the redistribution structure. A first opening in the underfill may expose a top surface of the first electrically floating metal line.

Abstract: A fan-out circuit including a plurality of first fan-out lines is provided. At least one of the first fan-out lines includes a first upper segment, a first upper connection part having one end connected to the first upper segment, a first intermediate segment having one end connected to the other end of the first upper connection part, a first lower connection part having one end connected to the other end of the first intermediate segment, and a first lower segment connected to the other end of the first lower connection part. At least one of the first upper segment, the first intermediate segment and the first lower segment has a zigzag structure.

The fan-out structure of the peripheral region comprises a plurality of first fan-out wires and a plurality of second fan-out wires alternatively arranged with the first fan-out wires. In the border regions, resistance of the first fan-out wire is lower than that of the adjacent second fan-out wire. In the central region, resistance of the first fan-out wire is higher than that of the adjacent second fan-out wire.

Abstract: An extended memory card capable of coupling to a reduced size memory card and having an electrical connection to a card reader is disclosed. The extended memory card comprises a first flash memory and a first client controller, where the card reader accesses to the first flash memory by controlling the operation of the first client controller. The reduced size memory card further comprises a second flash memory and a second client controller, where a host controller accesses to the second flash memory by controlling the operation of the second client controller. The extended memory card coupled to the reduced size memory card has the same size as an MMC card. The reduced size memory card has the same size as the RS-MMC card.

Abstract: An USB access device with selectable modes is comprised of an USB interface unit for connecting to an electronic device; an USB controller connected to the USB interface unit; and a manual switch connected to the USB controller for switching the USB controller to either master or slave mode. When the manual switch switches the USB controller to operate in the master mode, the USB controller is set to execute a master-mode driver. When the manual switch switches the USB controller to operate in the slave mode, the USB controller is set to execute a slave-mode driver.

Abstract: The present invention provides an integrated circuit chip with flash memory and identification function, which comprises a base, a body, at least one flash memory die, and a codeless die. The flash memory die and the codeless die are disposed on the base and packaged in the same body, such that the integrated circuit chip is equipped with the flash memory and personal identification function. Further, the integrated circuit chip can connect to a die controling chip for providing the function of data access and data security. That is, when the identification code stored in the codeless die matches the identification data included in the received wireless signal, the die controling chip allows the flash memory die to process data access.

Abstract: A push wheel switch including a housing, a toothed wheel rotatably disposed in the housing and two push buttons for controlling the rotation of the toothed wheel. The push buttons are depressed to rotate the toothed wheel so as to changedly show numerals on a numeral face of the toothed wheel. In the case that the toothed wheel is located and prevented from rotating by locating block, when the push button is again depressed, the push button will slip off without driving the toothed wheel.
