  • Patent number: 12125746
Abstract: An integrated circuit (IC) structure includes a substrate, an interconnect structure, metal lines, a liner, a protecting layer, and a nitride-free passivation layer. The interconnect structure is over the substrate. The metal lines are over the interconnect structure. The liner is conformally formed on the metal lines. The protecting layer is over the liner. The nitride-free passivation layer continuously extends from the liner to the protecting layer and forms an interface with the liner.

  • Publication number: 20140047511
Abstract: A network storage system includes a user data storage area, a public storage area, and a processor. The user data storage area includes a number of private storage areas for storing private data of users. Each private storage area is designated for a registered account. The public storage area stores a plurality of identifiers (IDs) of the private storage areas and a plurality of deletion codes each of which corresponds to a registered account and comprises a deletion ID and a user ID. The processor identifies the code is a deletion code when one of the deletion IDs is contained in the code, determines the corresponding registered account of the identified deletion code according to the user ID, further determines the corresponding private storage area of the determined registered account, and deletes all the data stored in the determined private storage area.

  • Patent number: 7071923
Abstract: An improved optical mechanism of an optical mouse is disclosed. The improved optical mechanism is implemented inside the optical mouse and applies a layer of black coating or a surface processing to surface adjacent to photosensor surroundings to thus form an absorbing layer for absorbing reflecting light not directly projected to a photosensor, thereby advantageously receiving relatively high light points by the photosensor and increasing light-and-shade contrast, i.e., stressing the corresponding light as the light is directly projected to the photosensor and otherwise, the corresponding shade is stressed. Therefore, the performance on determining the mouse image is actually increased.

  • Publication number: 20050083304
Abstract: A method and apparatus for dynamically searching moving vector of an image stream, which captures a previous image for determining a target area in the previous image, captures a current image at a next sampling time for comparing the previous image and the current image so that a matched area with the target area is found to accordingly determine a moving vector and offset in the image stream, captures a next image at a next sampling time for determining an estimated area in the next image in accordance with the moving vector and further updates the moving vector and offset in the image stream in accordance with matched part found in the estimated area as compared with the target area.

  • Publication number: 20050068300
Abstract: A method and apparatus for controlling dynamic image capturing rate of an optical mouse is disclosed. The optical mouse has a light source and an image sensor. The light source is lighted at a lighting frequency such that the image sensor can capture an external image. The method includes the steps: capturing a first image; capturing a second image at a next sampling time for comparing the first image and the second image and thus finding match parts to determine moving distance and speed of the optical mouse; and proportionally adjusting the lighting frequency of the light source and an image capturing rate based on the moving speed.

  • Publication number: 20040212805
Abstract: An optical input device capable of determining properties of a reflective plane is disclosed. The optical input device applies a light device to project an incident light to the reflective plane. In accordance with the law of reflection, the incident light projected on the reflective plane produces reflecting light, diffusing light and transmitting light, respectively. The optical input device includes a first photosensor, a second photosensor and a microprocessor. The first photosensor receives a part of diffusing light to accordingly compute a total diffusing light. The second photosensor senses reflecting light. The microprocessor computes energy of the transmitting light in accordance with the law of energy conservation and accordingly determines if transmitting light consisting of light beams passes through the reflective plane. If yes, the reflective plane is determined to be formed of a transparent material, otherwise, it is determined to be formed of an opaque material.

  • Publication number: 20040212592
Abstract: A light guiding device of an optical mouse is disclosed. The light guiding device is implemented inside the optical mouse applied to an operating surface. The optical mouse has a light device to project an incident light. The light guiding device includes a first lens part facing to the light device for receiving the incident light. The incident light received is focused and then projected to a prism plane for total reflection such that the incident light is directed to a slope plane arranged obliquely towards the same direction as the prism plane. The incident light is further refracted slight downwardly into a cavity defined by a bottom of the light guiding device through the slope plane and finally projected on the operating surface through a bottom opening of the optical mouse.
