Patent number: 8156162Abstract: A storage method and a search method for mark events on two-dimensional space are provided. First, an event and a corresponding coordinate thereof are retrieved. Next, calculation on the coordinate of the event is performed to generate an index representing a bucket position in a storage device. Next, whether or not there is any existing search tree stored in the bucket position is judged, and then the event is inserted into a linked list of a node of the search tree stored in the bucket position according to a judgment result. Besides, when a range on the two-dimensional space is designated, corresponding nodes in the search tree are rapidly accessed according to the index obtained by a hash function, and further by application of pointers pointing to the bucket position having the search tree stored therein and by real-time return of search result, the search speed is high.Type: GrantFiled: July 30, 2008Date of Patent: April 10, 2012Assignee: Industrial Technology Research InstituteInventors: Ching-Sung Lee, Shih-Fang Chang

Patent number: 7865203Abstract: A method for grouping wireless devices and an apparatus thereof are provided. First, the feature values of a plurality of access points (APs) detected by a wireless device are received, wherein these APs are designated as a first set, and the feature values of the APs constitute a feature vector. A first grouping process is performed to the wireless device according to the first set, which allocates the wireless device to an appointed clustering factory. A second grouping process is performed to the wireless device according to the feature vector, which divides all of the wireless devices within the appointed clustering factory into a member group or a noise group. Eventually, the grouping result is transmitted to the wireless device.Type: GrantFiled: November 27, 2007Date of Patent: January 4, 2011Assignee: Industrial Technology Research IntituteInventors: Ying-Chieh Lei, Te-Yu Lai, Ching-Sung Lee

Publication number: 20070200142Abstract: The present invention relates to a high linear enhancement-mode heterostructure field-effect transistor. More, the present invention uses an InGaAs channel structure with a linear change, and integrates an adjusting effect of working region corresponding to the threshold voltage of the element. It not only directly provides a complementary structure for the conventional depletion-mode element to select, but also increases the range of the gate voltage swing. More, some important characteristics, such as current driving capacity, transconductance gain, linear amplification, and high speed operation can be largely improved. More particularly, E-mode working element has a low static power. Further, the present invention also has a high stop frequency characteristic of the high speed element from the composite semiconductor, and it can be applied to the microwave push-pull amplification circuit.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 24, 2006Publication date: August 30, 2007Inventors: Ching-Sung Lee, Wei-Chou Hsu, Jun-Chin Huang, Chien-Hung Chen
