  • Publication number: 20110252665
Abstract: A shoe pad includes a soft and elastic layer and an air permeable layer connected onto the soft and elastic layer. The soft and elastic layer includes a front metatarsal section, a mid foot section and a rear heel section. Central portions of the front metatarsal section and the rear heel section have a plurality of cavities. The cavities are discrete from each other for enhancing the structural strength of the shoe pad. The mid foot section has a thickened arch portion, and the arch portion has a plurality of reinforcement structures for enhancing the supporting strength. The periphery portion of the rear heel section is thicker than the central portion of the rear heel section, so when a foot heel steps on the rear heel section, a feeling of stable descending is provided.

  • Publication number: 20070290541
Abstract: A footrest of a one-legged seating device includes a fixation device and a ring frame. The fixation device is integrally molded of plastic and includes a hub having a central hole and a plurality of spokes around the hub. The ring frame is a metal tube shaped into a ring. Using injection molding, the ring frame is wrapped by and fixed to circumferential ends of the spokes. A sleeve and a pressed sheet are provided between the central hole of the hub and a supporting post. A locking bolt is screwed into the fixation device. The locking bolt presses to the pressed sheet, the pressed sheet to the sleeve, and the sleeve to the supporting post. Therefore the footrest is fixed to the supporting post at a desired height.

  • Patent number: 5769497
Abstract: An arm support of a chair which is adjustable to set a height of the armrest and a distance between the armrests includes a support pole, a jacket, a fixed jacket and two toothed members. Each toothed member is provided with teeth along one side thereof. The support pole which is L-shaped has a vertical part and a horizontal part which are formed respectively with an oblong orifice. The jacket has an interior spacing for receiving the vertical part of the support pole. The first toothed member is fixed inside the oblong orifice of the vertical part of the support pole. The jacket is engaged with an elastic button. When a user wants to adjust the arm support to set the height of the armrest, the user may press the elastic button to raise or lower down the jacket with respect to the support pole so as to adjust the height of the armrest. The fixed jacket is fixed on the chair and has an interior spacing for receiving the horizontal part of the support pole.
