    Abstract: A battery connector includes an insulation housing and conductive terminals. The insulation housing has slots, and the conductive terminals are held in the slots. Each conductive terminal includes an elastic connecting portion, a contact portion, and a fastening portion. The elastic connecting portion includes elastic arms parallel and substantially aligned along a transversal direction and connecting portions formed at two ends of each of the elastic arms. The contact portion includes a bendable contact portion extended forwardly from the elastic connecting portion and then folded and extended backwardly and an active contact arm formed at an end portion of the bendable contact portion. The fastening portion includes a bent portion extended backwardly from the elastic connecting portion and then folded and extended forwardly and a passive contact arm formed at an end portion of a bent portion and aligned with the active contact arm.

The metal cover enhances the structural strength of the shell to improve the durability of repeated engagement and disengagement of the interference proof electrical receptacle connector.

    Abstract: An electric connector includes an insulation body, a shielding shell, first and second conductive terminals, and an organizer. The insulation body has a base portion and a tongue portion extended horizontally forward from the base portion. The shielding shell encloses the insulation body. Each first or second conductive terminal has a retaining section fixedly located in the insulation body, a contact section extended forward from the retaining section and located on the tongue portion, and a soldering section bent upward from the retaining section and extended outside the base portion. The organizer located on the base portion has an elongate slot and apertures that penetrate the base portion. The elongate slot allows the soldering sections of the first conductive terminals to pass through and anchor therein. Each aperture allows the soldering section of each second conductive terminal to pass through and anchor therein.

Each coupling portion is formed in front of the raised portion. The two narrow metal brackets are provided for mounting with the coupling portions of the insulated housing. Each narrow metal bracket has a main plate, front and rear interference tabs for being interfered with one coupling portion of the insulated housing, and at least one positioning tab for being fixed onto the circuit board. When the contacting portions connected with the casing, the contact area between the casing and the auxiliary fastening members can be increased by the contacting portions so as to reduce the contact impedance or resistance between the plug connector and the receptacle connector.
