  • Publication number: 20060108934
Abstract: A generating device includes a tube, a coil mounted around the tube, and a permanent magnet movably mounted in the tube to pass through the coil. Thus, the permanent magnet is movable in the tube reciprocally by a shaking action to pass through the coil to cause variation of a magnetic field of the coil, so that the coil produces an electric current by variation of the magnetic field, thereby generating the electricity so as to supply an electric power to the light emitting diodes. In addition, the light emitting diodes are lighted by a shaking action without needing aid of an external power supply or a battery.

  • Publication number: 20020190870
Abstract: A cushioned sound and flash generator is designed for mounting in a heel of child's shoe. The sound and flash generator has a case having a sound and flash generating unit fixedly mounted therein and a cover vertically movably closed onto the case. Elastic members are positioned in the case above the sound and flash generating unit to normally support the cover at a highest possible position relative to the case. When a child walks or runs and therefore applies a downward pressure on the cushioned sound and flash generators mounted in the shoes, the elastic members are elastically compressed for the covers to elastically descend relative to the cases, preventing the child's heels and ankles from injury.

  • Patent number: 6094141
Abstract: A decorative/warning luminous means emitting flashes only in a vibrating state and in the night and therefore consuming only very small amount of power. The decorative/warning luminous means includes an actuating unit consisting of serially connected photo-sensor circuit, resistor, and vibration switch and capable of detecting surrounding luminance and vibrating condition. The actuating unit has two ends connected to two electrodes of a DC power source and outputs a trigger signal that is a signal of voltage value detected at a position between the photo-sensor and the resistor for actuating the decorative/warning luminous means to produce flashes. The actuating unit is always in an open state and does not consume any power in the daytime, so long as the decorative/warning luminous means is not actuated.

  • Patent number: 5950461
Abstract: A lock mechanism structure includes a pair of latches with one end of each latch positioned against a spring and the other end of which are engaged with a rod. A block has a spring urging the block outwardly which in turn urges the latches outwardly to extend into a recess, whereas the other end of the block has a slope surface engaging with a corresponding slanting surface on a bulge extending upward from a rotating plate of a lock core, thus, when opening the lock, the lock core rotates to bring the bulge to push the block upwardly, whereas the other end of the block descends to urge the spring to retract, this allows the latch to detach from the recess and the lock is in a released status.
