  • Publication number: 20110251563
Abstract: A totally implantable venous device includes a port comprising an arcuate housing having a recess on an inner surface and an opening being in communication with the recess, the opening having a flat mouth, an internal chamber, and a base formed of hard plastic and being capable of preventing a needle from inserting through; a catheter comprising a fastening member at one end; a sleeve complementarily mounted on a front portion of the fastening member; and a sleeving member complementarily mounted on the remaining portion of the fastening member. The recess and the opening form a through hole having an enlarged intermediate portion. The fastening member has a truncated trapezoidal shape. The sleeve, the sleeving member, and the fastening member form a watertight structure at the recess and the opening. The catheter and the fastening member are formed of the same material.

  • Publication number: 20110160531
Abstract: A natural orifice translumenal endoscopic surgery (NOTES) device includes a puncture needle, dilator sheaths and working sheaths. The puncture needle includes a puncture end and a protruding safety stud situated substantially at a middle section of the puncture needle. Each dilator sheath has an insert end and a position limit end, and each dilator is sheathed sequentially onto the puncture needle, and the position limit end is stopped by the safety stud of the puncture needle, such that the insert end will not exceed the puncture end and will form a safety interval from the puncture end. The working sheath is provided for inserting and retracting the dilator sheaths and the puncture needle to form a space required for a surgical operation after the dilator sheaths have expanded a natural orifice, so as to provide a safe and convenient use of NOTES.

  • Publication number: 20110106242
Abstract: An artificial blood vessel includes an artificial blood vessel body layer and a silicone layer. The artificial blood vessel body layer comprises an injection section, and the silicone layer is covered and mounted on an outer surface of the injection section. The artificial blood vessel body layer and the silicone layer are formed integrally by injection-molding. The silicone layer covered and mounted on the injection section of the artificial blood vessel body layer enables the artificial blood vessel for repeated injections and effectively prevents puncture aneurysm from occurring.

  • Publication number: 20110099383
Abstract: A method for transmitting data and preventing unauthorized data duplication for human-machine interface device (HID) using Mass Storage Class (MSC) operating on Universal Serial Bus (USB) simulating the HID as an external USB storage device to make data connection to an external computer thus driver installation is not required when the operating system used by the external computer is not compatible with the operating used by the HID. The method encrypted the transmitted data via a dynamic password and does not write the data to the File Allocation Table (FAT) therefore the transmitted data is not under threat of unauthorized data duplication by a third party.

  • Publication number: 20110054352
Abstract: A portable dialysis access monitor device, comprising: an electronic monitor device and a server. The electronic monitor device includes a first microprocessor, an acoustic detector, a touch screen, a first storage device, a diagnostic programming module, an alarm device and a power supply device. The first microprocessor collects acoustic frequency signals, sound signals and thrill signals detected from a dialytic fistula. If signal difference is greater than a predetermined threshold value, the electronic monitor device provides a warning by the alarm device. The server includes a second microprocessor, a second storage device and a mobile internet. The server receives and analyzes the acoustic frequency signals, the sound signals and the thrill signals detected from the dialytic fistula by utilizing the second microprocessor to get an analyzed result. The server transmits the analyzed result to the electronic monitor device by utilizing the mobile internet.

  • Publication number: 20110017208
Abstract: A device for positioning tracheostomy tube includes a tracheostomy tube and a tracheostomy tube protecting membrane. The tracheostomy tube protecting membrane includes a tearing line portion formed at two sides of the tracheostomy tube protecting membrane. The tracheostomy tube protecting membrane is used for mounting in a trachea of a patient to form a positioning path for the tracheostomy tube. The tearing line portion is used for being torn open and removed. The present invention utilizes the tracheostomy tube protecting membrane to be mounted in a trachea of a patient first. The tracheostomy tube protecting membrane can effectively protect the trachea of the patient.

  • Publication number: 20110004167
Abstract: An injection base for artificial blood vessels includes a body and a catheter. The body has an injection chamber, a strengthened injection top diaphragm and a strengthened injection side diaphragm. The catheter is connected to one side of the body, and the strengthened injection side diaphragm is at another side of the body according to the catheter. The body and the catheter are integrated as one member. The totally implantable central venous access port further has a metal wire, which is coated with a film, and a puncture sheath with a side opening in order to make a loop around the metal wire through the puncture sheath conveniently. For the cases of a small blood vessel and a large angle of a blood vessel, the totally implantable central venous access port is easily implanted into and reinforces the strength thereof.

  • Publication number: 20090089260
Abstract: A Quick Search User Interface (UI) comprises a search entry field for inputting characters, e.g. search terms. The Quick Search UI further comprises icons that are graphical representations of applications. The Quick Search UI subsequently launches an operating system and passes the user action to the operating system. The operating system uses this information to generate search results comprising websites, program files, videos, etc. Alternatively, the operating system launches the application(s) selected by the user. Icons displayed on the user interface are ordered, for example, according to a company's willingness to pay more money for a more prominent spot or according to user preferences. The Quick Search UI can be customized using skins with themes, such as musicians, geographic locations, and/or products. The icons can be displayed according to which application provider pays the highest premium, or according to user preference.
