Abstract: Various schemes pertaining to pre-encoding processing of a video stream with motion compensated temporal filtering (MCTF) are described. An apparatus determines a filtering interval for a received raw video stream having pictures in a temporal sequence. The apparatus selects from the pictures a plurality of target pictures based on the filtering interval, as well as a group of reference pictures for each target picture to perform pixel-based MCTF, which generates a corresponding filtered picture for each target picture. The apparatus subsequently transmits the filtered pictures as well as non-target pictures to an encoder for encoding the video stream. Subpictures of natural images and screen content images are separately processed by the apparatus.

Abstract: A method includes: training a machine learning model with a plurality of electronic circuit placement layouts; predicting, by the machine learning model, fix rates of design rule check (DRC) violations of a new electronic circuit placement layout; identifying hard-to-fix (HTF) DRC violations among the DRC violations based on the fix rates of the DRC violations of the new electronic circuit placement layout; and fixing, by an engineering change order (ECO) tool, the DRC violations.

Abstract: The present invention contemplates a treatment for ocular inflammation.More particularly, one aspect of the present invention relates to a method of reducing, inhibiting or preventing ocular inflammation in a mammal which comprises administering to said mammal an effective amount of matrine or a derivative thereof.Another aspect of the present invention is directed to a pharmaceutical composition useful in reducing, inhibiting or preventing ocular inflammation in a mammal comprising an effective amount of matrine or a derivative thereof and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.Yet another aspect of the present invention contemplates a method of inducing ocular analgesia and a pharmaceutical composition useful for same.
