  • Patent number: 7252911
Abstract: An ESD-resistant photomask and method of preventing mask ESD damage is disclosed. The ESD-resistant photomask includes a mask substrate, a pattern-forming material provided on the substrate, a circuit pattern defined by exposure regions etched in the pattern-forming material, and positive or negative ions implanted into the mask substrate throughout ion implantation regions. The ions in the ion implantation regions dissipate electrostatic charges on the mask, thus preventing the buildup of electrostatic charges which could otherwise attract image-distorting particles to the mask or damage the mask.

  • Patent number: 7242673
Abstract: A system and method for short message (SM) barring. A storage device stores a service configuration record comprising a telephone number, a first parameter and a second parameter. The first parameter indicates whether the telephone number allows incoming short message service (SMS) in a first mobile network, and the second parameter indicates whether the telephone number allows short message transmission via a second mobile network. A process unit receives a SM transmission request with a destination telephone number and an SM, acquires both the first parameter and the second parameter corresponding to the destination telephone number from the service configuration record, and transmits an error message if both the first parameter and the second parameter are negative.
