The method comprising: obtaining a display bias value ?Vth of the display panel; calculating an outputting voltage value Vt=Vi+?Vth which currently needs according a currently inputting voltage value Vi and the display bias value ?Vth; determining whether the currently inputting voltage value Vi is in regulation range of the potential regulator; if yes, controlling the potential regulator to output correspondingly regulation voltage value according to the outputting voltage value Vt; if no, regulating the regulation range of the potential regulator according to the outputting voltage value Vt. Therefore, it could efficiency improve the problem of potential deviation in the display panel.

    Abstract: An image local contrast enhancement method includes: obtaining a first block where a pixel is located and a second block adjacent to the first block, and a gray scale source of a third block; obtaining a source gray scale of a fourth block opposite to the first block; respectively calculating a linear interpolation value according to the source gray scale and a distance between the pixel and the first block, the second block, the third block, and the fourth block; calculating a nonlinear interpolation value of the linear interpolation value by a nonlinear function; performing weighted calculation on the nonlinear interpolation value to obtain a target gray scale. The disclosure increases the diagonal blocks in the local gray scale adjustment, reflects the diagonal direction of the image, enhances the display effect of the local contrast in the smoothing process, enhances the edge image display effect, and improves the user experience.

    Abstract: A display device and a driving method are provided, which includes a plurality of main control modules coupled in order, a display driving module and a panel. The main control module includes a first input module, an auxiliary module and a first output module. The first input module captures images, and the first output module outputs data transmitted from the first input module and the auxiliary module to the display driving module. The display driving module includes a first calculator, and the panel displays the images processed by the first calculator. The auxiliary module is configured to provide auxiliary calculating parameters for the first calculator. By the display device and the driving method disclosed, the computation of the display driving module is reduced and the performance balance and computing efficiency are increased, so as to decrease manufacturing cost or producing obstruction and greatly raise the flexibility.
