  • Patent number: 10379512
Abstract: A system includes a computer processor located within a cloud system. The system receives data from a sensor associated with an industrial or home automation control application. The sensor is configured to monitor a first condition of a device. The computer processor analyzes the data, and transmits a software update or software download from the cloud system to the industrial or home automation control application based on the data analysis.

  • Patent number: 9746385
Abstract: A method includes receiving a signal associated with one or more sensors. The method also includes examining one or more parameters of a signal conditioning circuit to determine whether clipping of the signal has occurred. The method further includes, upon a determination that clipping of the signal has occurred, decreasing a gain of the signal conditioning circuit. In addition, the method includes, upon a determination that clipping of the signal has not occurred, determining whether a cut-off frequency of the signal conditioning circuit is within a range of a frequency response of an object measured by the one or more sensors. The method can further include changing the cut-off frequency of the signal conditioning circuit and increasing a resistance or a capacitance of the signal conditioning circuit.

  • Publication number: 20170049312
Abstract: The present invention relates to a colposcopy apparatus (10) for performing a colposcopy procedure. The colposcopy apparatus (10) comprises an imaging unit (11) comprising an optics unit (12) having an optical axis (22) and an image acquiring unit (13) for acquiring an image (21) of a cervix (23) through the optics unit, and at least three light beam emitting units (14, 15, 16, 17) spaced apart from the optical axis, wherein the at least three light beam emitting units are adapted to emit light beams that are coplanar with the optical axis and that intersect on the optical axis at a predefined distance (d10) in front of the colposcopy apparatus, wherein not all of the emitted light beams lie in a same plane. The colposcopy apparatus allows better supporting a user, for instance, a gynecologist, in positioning and/or configuring the colposcopy apparatus for performing the colposcopy procedure.
