Abstract: Method, User equipment, system and program for limiting an amount of information transmitted between a plurality of user equipments and a server. The method comprising establishing communication links between a plurality of user equipments based upon a proximity of the plurality of user equipments, determining a tactical common mission group selected from the linked plurality of user equipments using a mission profile stored in each of the plurality of user equipments; and selecting a proxy for the tactical common mission group. The proxy communicates with a server on behalf of the tactical common mission group. A proxy is selected based upon a ranking.

Abstract: Disclosed is a system and method for establishing communications between a first node and a second node to enable interaction to occur over a network. The first node has a pre-established trust relationship with a first supporting node and the second node has a pre-established trust relationship with a second supporting node. The system and method include establishing a trust relationship between the first node and the second node. The trust relationship is based on a trust relationship between the first supporting node and the second supporting node. The pre-established trust relationships may also be partial trust relationships.

The system and method is characterized by a client server architecture with a centralized process for controlling communications access; and a plurality of client applications each located with an end user for control, and with each end user having a device for effecting the communications which may be combined with or operated separately from the client application controlling the communications session.
