  • Patent number: 6318682
Abstract: A support base is mounted to a golf bag of the type having a substantially U-shaped resilient defined by a mediate section and two limbs. The support base has two parallel side passages in a top side thereof. The support base further has a cutout in a lateral side thereof. The cutout and the side passages being communicated with each other and arranged to define a tongue with the side passages located on both sides of the tongue. Each side passage includes an open outer end and a closed inner end. An end wall defining the inner end of each side passage includes an inclined groove. The cutout includes an outer open end and an inner end that is aligned with the closed inner ends of the side passages.

  • Patent number: 6296117
Abstract: A golf bag includes a bag body; a pivot seat attached to an upper portion of the bag body, two supporting rods each having an upper end pivotally attached to the pivot seat, and a support base attached to the lower portion of the bag body. The supporting rods are pivotable between an extended position and a retracted position in response to movement of the bag body between a tilted position and an upright position. Two resilient strips are provided and each includes an upper end securely attached to the upper end of an associated supporting rod to move therewith and a lower end securely attached to the support base. At least one of the resilient strips has a stop located at a predetermined level. A tensioner includes a longitudinal hole with two end portions through which the resilient strips extend, respectively. The tensioner is supported by the stop.

  • Patent number: 6293397
Abstract: A ball-receiving member is attached to an object. The ball-receiving member includes an open side to allow insertion of balls and defines a receiving space therein for receiving a plurality of balls. The ball-receiving member is made of elastomeric material and includes a plurality of side holes in a side thereof. Each side hole retains an associated ball in place yet allowing passage of the ball upon manual squeezing at both sides of the ball-receiving member.

  • Patent number: 6241202
Abstract: A supporting device for a golf bag includes two supporting rods, two connecting members, a support base located on the ground, two strips, and a strip-holding member. Each connecting member is integrally formed on the upper end of an associated supporting rod. The upper end of each connecting member is pivotally connected to the golf bag and thus pivotable about a pivotal axis. Each connecting member further includes a receptacle extended in a direction parallel to the pivotal axis. Each strip includes an upper end securely attached to the receptacle of an associated connecting member to move therewith and a lower end securely attached to the support base. The strip-holding member is slidably attached to the strips to hold the strips and includes an upper end with two spaced inwardly facing notches. The strip-holding member further includes two spaced slots in a lower end thereof, each slot being communicated with outside via a slit.
