Abstract: Smart glasses include a frame, temples connected to the frame, at least one sound pickup device provided on at least one of the plurality of temples and a wireless communication module provided in a cavity of any one of the plurality of temples and electrically connected to the at least one sound pickup device. The wireless communication module is configured to control and switch the operation modes of the smart glasses, perform a first beamforming processing on voice data acquired by the at least one sound pickup device in the call mode so that sound beam pickup of the at least one sound pickup device is directed downward, and perform a second beamforming processing on the voice data in the hearing aid mode so that the sound beam pickup of the at least one sound pickup device is directed forward.

The first sensor is incorporated into an eyewear device. The first sensor measures a parameter related to the user. A state of the user is analyzed using the data. Assistance is provided to the user. The assistance is in a form of feedback, and the feedback is related to the state of the user. The assistance can also be related to a context of the user and a state of the user. The context of the user is determined from the data.

The first temple is configured for use with the eyewear device. The first temple further includes a first engagement portion. The first temple includes a first temple insert module (TIM). The first temple insert module is releasably couplable with the first engagement portion. The reconfigurable component can include at least one of a sensor and a display. The first temple insert module further includes a first wireless communication system. The first wireless communication system is configured to communicate wirelessly with a user device. The first temple insert module further includes a processor and a first speaker. The processor is configured to receive an input from at least one of the sensor and the first wireless communication system and to generate an output.

The smart glasses include: a wearing body provided with a connecting wire, wherein two ends of the connecting wire extend out of two sides of the wearing body respectively; position adjusting end pieces installed on the two sides of the wearing body, which can be rotated around a first direction relative to the wearing body within a first angle range and maintained at any position within the first angle range, and further can be rotated around a second direction relative to the wearing body within a second angle range and maintained at any position within the second angle range; and hinges installed on an end of the position adjusting end pieces away from the wearing body and are electrically connected to the connecting wire. The smart glasses can fine-tune the shape and adjust the size of the whole smart glasses.

Abstract: Protein double-shell nanostructures comprising apoferritin for carrying cargo proteins of interest are provided. Such nanostructures can be used to increase rigidity of a cargo protein of interest to allow structures of small and flexible proteins to be determined by cryogenic-electron microscopy (cryo-EM). Recombinant vectors for producing protein double-shell nanostructures are also provided. The nanostructures described herein may find use in various applications in research and drug discovery.
