Abstract: A proportional valve includes a casing and a valve trim. The casing has at least one fluid inlet, a fluid outlet, at least one first connection passageway, at least one second connection passageway and an accommodating space. The first connection passageway is connected with the fluid inlet. The second connection passageway is connected with the fluid outlet. The valve trim is located in the accommodating space, including a flow splitter an adjusting rotor. The flow splitter has at least one third connection passageway and at least one fourth connection passageway. The third connection passageway is connected with the first connection passageway. The fourth connection passageway is connected with the second connection passageway. The adjusting rotor has a channel and at least one blocking portion. The adjusting rotor is rotatably disposed on the flow splitter so that the blocking portion blocks a part of the third connection passageway.

Abstract: An overdrive method includes: performing loss compression to an input image to generate image data, and storing the image data into a memory; reading the image data from the memory and decoding the image data to obtain a previous image; obtaining a current image, calculating a difference between a current grey level at a location of the current image and a previous grey level of the previous image at the location; calculating a gain according to the difference and a threshold; calculating an overdrive grey level according to the current grey level and the previous grey level; and mixing the overdrive grey level and the current grey level based on the gain to generate an output grey level to replace the current grey level.

The method comprising: encoding image data of a current image to generate encoded image data of the current image, wherein the encoded image data is compressed data of the image data; decoding the encoded image data of the current image to generate decoded image data of the current image; performing block error estimation to generate quantized block error values of the plurality of blocks, respectively; determining OD depressed gains, respectively; and adjusting OD strength of corresponding blocks within a next image, respectively, for controlling the display panel to display the next image.
