The gate is disposed on the substrate, the gate insulating layer is disposed on the gate, and the semiconductor layer is disposed on the gate insulating layer. The first conductive layer is disposed on the semiconductor layer, and the first conductive layer includes copper. The covering layer is disposed on an upper surface of the first conductive layer, and the covering layer includes copper nitride. The sidewall protection layer is disposed on a side surface of the first conductive layer, and the sidewall protection layer includes copper nitride.
