  • Publication number: 20230313887
Abstract: A sealing property is improved. A sealing device (1) is formed of an endless elastic body around an axis line (x). The sealing device (1) is mounted in an endless space (S) formed by a plurality of members (100, 101) facing each other so as to perform sealing between one side (c) and the other side (d) in the radial direction of the space (S). The sealing device (1) includes a main body portion (11) facing the plurality of members (100, 101) in the axis line (x) direction, projecting portions (13) on one side projecting from the main body portion (11) toward the one side (c) in the radial direction to face the plurality of members (100, 101), and projecting portions (14) on the other side projecting from the main body portion (11) toward the other side (d) in the radial direction to face the plurality of members (100, 101).

  • Patent number: 7473382
Abstract: A seal molding material for cell electrolytic solution, which comprises an EPDM composition comprising a peroxide-crosslinkable EPDM and an organic peroxide, the seal molding material being for use at the electrode site of a nickel-hydrogen cell, wherein the EPDM composition comprises preferably 100 parts by weight of a peroxide-crosslinkable EPDM, 10 to 150 parts by weight of a filler and 1 to 8 parts by weight of an organic peroxide, and not more than 40 parts by weight of hydrocarbon-based oil can be further contained. The seal material molded from the seal molding material for cell electrolytic solution has a sufficient durability against a potassium hydroxide-based electrolytic solution and a longer life, and is free from any deterioration, when energized at the electrode site of a nickel-hydrogen cell.

  • Patent number: 7199198
Abstract: A fluororubber sealant composition includes 100 parts by weight of a fluororubber, which is a copolymer having a cross-linking site derived from a bromine-containing and/or iodine-containing compound, capable of crosslinking with peroxide and having a component unit composition comprising 20 to 23% by mol of a perfluoromethyl vinylether component unit, 60 to 70% by mol of a vinylidene fluoride component unit, 10 to 20% by mol of a tetrafluoroethylene component unit, 0 to 10% by mol of hexafluoropropylene component unit (based on 100% of the total of the above component units), and a small amount of a bromide and/or iodide unsaturated fluorohydrocarbon component unit as a crosslinking site based on 100% by mol of the total of the above component units; and further comprising, based on 100 parts by weight of the fluororubber, 2 to 50 parts by weight of a bituminous fine powder; 0.5 to 6 parts by weight of an organoperoxide; and 1 to 10 parts by weight of a polyfunctional monomer.
