Abstract: A shipment sorting system is provided. The system comprises a plurality of inflow lines each thereof conveys cargoes each containing articles to be shipped; a plurality of first buffer lines each thereof includes a first loop storage line for circulating and storing cargoes transferred from the inflow lines and a plurality of first straight storage lines for storing cargoes; a second buffer line including a second loop storage line connected to output ends of the first straight storage lines for circulating and storing cargoes, a plurality of second straight storage lines, and a plurality of return lines for returning excess unit cargoes in one of the second straight storage lines which is fill of unit cargoes to another second straight storage line; and a shipment sorting area for sorting cargoes transferred from the second straight storage lines to the plurality of shoot lines by sorters according to different shipment requirements.

Abstract: An inflow article management system is provided. The system comprises at least one inflow line; an input feeding means through which a vendor feeds vendor identification information when he puts his article into the inflow line; an article identification information reading means to read article identification information which is attached to an article and is related with its attributes; an article information storing means to store an article information table connecting the vendor identification information with the article identification information of articles and the number of the articles to be received; and an inflow article information control means.

Abstract: A commercial article sorting system is provided. The system comprises a belt conveyor to transfer a plurality of articles of the same kind put in a tray, a sorting rack provided along the belt conveyor and having a plurality of slots, a scanner provided to the sorting rack to read the data necessary for sorting the articles from the tray to the slots, at least one direction indicator each thereof is mounted to approximately center of the one block of the slots to provide a visual direction signal to the hauler, entry indicators each thereof is mounted to each slot to provide a visual location signal to the hauler, and a controller to control the direction indicator and the entry indicators based on the data read from the label.
