  • Patent number: 6953816
Abstract: The present invention provides a polymer composition for film formation which provides a film having sufficient elongation and strength even on the surface of the film with sharp irregularities by rewetting with water after coating and drying. The polymer composition for film formation contains at least one component selected from the group consisting of an emulsion comprising a homopolymer of polyvinyl acetate or a copolymer of polyvinyl acetate with a monomer selected from acrylic ester, acrylic amide, acrylic acid, methacrylic acid, methacrylic ester, maleic acid, maleic anhydride, and fumaric acid, and an aqueous solution of sap, fruit liquid, honey, and saccharide.

  • Patent number: 6627271
Abstract: A replica of fossil or the like can be handily manufactured using color prints obtained by photographing the fossil without preparing a mother mold. An overlaying replica is manufactured by preparing a plurality of prints, each having the same size, and obtained by photographing a collected specimen from given angles, cutting specimen parts to form a plurality of specimen prints, bonding said specimen prints by a solid paste one by one substantially in the same direction while they are overlaid on one another and kept at a given interval therebetween. A heaping replica is manufactured by preparing two prints, each having the same size and obtained by photographing a collected specimen from given angles, cutting specimen parts to form two specimen prints, molding a specimen dimensionally on the first specimen print by plastics using a spatula, and overlaying and bonding the second specimen print onto the molded three-dimensional specimen.

  • Patent number: 6508013
Abstract: There are provided a method of drying a fresh sample in a short period of time, a method of fabricating a pressed flower or specimen which retains a beautiful color, and a method of fabricating tea or herb tea which retains a natural beautiful color and scent. The method of quickly drying a fresh sample is characterized in comprising the steps of covering an outer surface of a fresh sample with a moisture absorbent porous flexible sheet, surrounding the periphery of the moisture absorbent porous flexible sheet with moisture absorbent granular bodies in an amount capable of absorbing all moisture contained in the fresh sample, bringing the outer surface of the fresh sample, the moisture absorbent porous flexible sheet and the moisture absorbent granular bodies into intimate contact with one another, and irradiating the fresh sample, the moisture absorbent porous flexible sheet and the moisture absorbent granular bodies with a microwave, then cooling them.
