  • Patent number: 12610482
Abstract: A motor control cabinet (MCC), implemented in a motor control center, on which an operation is performable by an industrial robot (IR), comprising: a bucket placeable in a section of the MCC, the bucket is configured to contain industrial device(s) and is movable along an axis relative to the section; a first interfacing device (ID) associated with the bucket, the first ID is associated with a first operation and a second operation distinct from the first operation, the first ID is operable by the IR to perform the first operation or the second operation on the bucket; and a second ID associated with the bucket, the second ID is associated with a third operation and operable by the IR to perform the third operation on the bucket, an interface of the second ID and an interface of the first ID are compatible with a same end effector of the IR.

  • Publication number: 20250387924
Abstract: A bucket manipulating device comprising a main body and a latching system translatable between a protruded state and a retracted state relative to the main body. The latching includes a coupling portion that engages a handle of a bucket positioned within a cabinet. When the latching system is in the protruded state, the bucket manipulating system is configured to move to a position in which the main body becomes secured against the bucket. The latching system is configured to move to the retracted state to couple the coupling portion and the handle while the main body is secured against the bucket whereby the bucket and the bucket manipulating device are coupled together for movement. When the bucket manipulating device is moved, the bucket is moved with the bucket manipulating device for displacement relative to the cabinet.

  • Patent number: 12459118
Abstract: Motion is coordinated between a robot and a mover in an independent cart system. A first mover for the independent cart system is located at an initial position, where the robot is mounted on the first mover. A motion trajectory command, defining motion of the robot and the first mover, is received at a motion controller. A mover command is generated for the first mover and a robot motion command is generated for the robot as a function of the motion trajectory command at the motion controller. The mover command is transmitted to a segment controller in a track segment on which the first mover is located, and the robot motion command is transmitted to a robot control system. Operation of the first mover is controlled with the segment controller in tandem with controlling operation of the robot with the robot control system responsive to the robot motion command.
