    Abstract: A foldable scooter includes a footboard, a steering column and a connecting member in between. The connecting member includes a stopper for engaging the connecting member with the notches disposed at a front portion of the footboard in the open condition. The connecting member also includes a rotatable locking member having a first biasing device for biasing the locking member against the connecting member in the open and folded conditions, an actuating end, a first locking end and a second locking end rotatable to a first and second locked position correspondingly for locking the connecting member to the footboard in the open and folded conditions. The locking member can be easily and conveniently released from the first and second locked positions by pressing the actuating end.

    Abstract: The scooter of the present invention includes a footboard, a steering column and a connecting member in between. An engaging member is provided for engaging the rear portion of the connecting member with the front portion of the footboard at the respective open and folded conditions. A rotational driving member operating between a locked position and a released position is provided for driving said engaging member between the open and folded conditions. A first biasing device is provided for disengaging the engaging member from the connecting member and the footboard at the released position of the driving member. The driving member is acted against the biasing device to engage the engaging member with the connecting member and the footboard at the locked position. The engaging member can be easily and conveniently engaged and disengaged by turning the driving member between the locked and released positions.

The lever is shielded substantially by the housing under the upper covering surface. The connecting member further includes a positioning member connected to a biasing device disposed at the front end of the footboard for biasing the positioning member against the mounting seats.
