  • Patent number: 10102106
Abstract: Techniques are described for aggregating code coverage data generated from various types of testing of software modules, and automatically determining whether to promote software upwards in a multi-level software deployment hierarchy based on the aggregated code coverage data. In embodiments, a code coverage metric is determined for a software module, and the metric is compared to a set of promotion criteria, including whether the metric meets a predetermined threshold for quality. In some cases, the threshold may be a general threshold, a threshold based on the level of possible promotion, and/or a threshold that is based on an identified category for the software module such as whether the module is a front-end module, a shared module, a legacy module, or a critical module.

  • Patent number: 7483410
Abstract: A wireless office communication system including a multi-protocol wireless internet base station (WIBS) encompassing a base station controller, a mobile switch controller and an ethernet interface module for coupling the WIBS to an existing internet protocol (IP) based network. The interface module provides for coupling the WIBS to an ethernet back-bone, a mobile communication unit and a public switch telephone network (PSTN). In one embodiment of the invention, a maintenance and operation server is coupled to the ethernet back-bone to allow a technician to remotely call into the enterprise system from a mobile system such as a lap-top computer or a personal digital assistant (PDA) to perform typical system operations and maintenance functions via the internet.

  • Publication number: 20080133683
Abstract: A method of processing an open asynchronous application service event and an open web service gateway implementing the method are provided. The open web service gateway includes: a plurality of SCFs (service capability features) operatively connected to an application service through a web service interface, receives an event registration request from the application service, and notifies an event occurring in a network to the application service; and an event broker registering the registration-requested based on a predetermined policy in correspondence with the SCFs, when the registration-requested event received from the application service is an asynchronous event, and notifies an occurrence of the event in the network to the SCFs according to a registered priority of the event.

  • Publication number: 20030141399
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a tape locking device for tape measures. The tape locking device comprises a locking lever hinged to an upper portion of the wall of the housing in such a way to be rotated frontward and rearward around a hinged joint, and provided with a connecting piece downwardly extending from the locking lever. A cylinder is connected at its first end to a hole formed at the lower portion of the connecting piece, with a coil spring fitted over the cylinder. A wedge-shaped stopper is connected to the second end of the cylinder, and having a desired frictional force. This stopper is elastically biased by the coil spring to be wedged in the gap between the outer circumferential surface of a wound part of the tape around the bobbin and a linear part of the tape led to the slot when releasing the locking lever after drawing a desired length of tape from the slot, so the drawn tape is automatically locked by frictional contact between the stopper surface and the drawn tape surface.

  • Patent number: 5220990
Abstract: An electronic part carrying apparatus is disclosed. If a carrier means moves to a part supplying device (which supplies electronic parts in a laid-down state) in accordance with the actuation of a rodless cylinder, a first roller is lifted along an upper inclined face of a first guide member in order to load electronic parts into a loading means. If the carrier means is moved in the opposite direction in accordance with the actuations of the rodless cylinder, a second roller is guided along a lower inclined face of a second guide member in order to pivot the loading means by 90 degrees. Consequently, the electronic parts are erected to an upright posture, with the result that the chucking is rendered easier, and that the working time is shortened.
