Abstract: An LCD device and a method for manufacturing the same is disclosed, in which it is possible to correct a problem of insufficient or excessive supply of liquid crystal in an LCD device by controlling an amount of liquid crystal, the method comprising preparing a liquid crystal cell comprised of a first substrate, a second substrate, a liquid crystal layer between the first and second substrates, and a first sealant formed in the periphery of the liquid crystal layer between the first and second substrates; measuring an amount of liquid crystal provided to the inside of liquid crystal cell; forming an inlet for liquid crystal in the first sealant; regulating the amount of liquid crystal by supplying or discharging the liquid crystal through the inlet; and sealing the inlet.

Abstract: A liquid crystal display device and fabricating method thereof are disclosed, by which insufficient or excessive filling of liquid crystals can be cured by adjusting a liquid crystal quantity in a liquid crystal display device having the insufficient or excessive filling of liquid crystals generated thereon. The present invention includes the steps of preparing a liquid crystal cell including a first substrate, a second substrate and a liquid crystal layer between the first and second substrates, checking a liquid crystal quantity within the liquid crystal cell, forming a hole in the liquid crystal cell, adjusting the liquid crystal quantity through the hole, and blocking the hole.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for fabricating a color filter of an LCD is provided. A first roller includes a dry film and a base film that are formed around the first roller in a predetermined order, the dry film is a red, a green, or a blue dry film to form a sub-color filter, the base film protects the dry film. A second roller operates in connection with the first roller and includes the dry film and the base film that are formed around the second roller in a reverse order of the predetermined order. A printing plate forms a predetermined pattern on the dry film formed around the second roller.

Abstract: A method for fabricating a color filter array substrate includes forming a black matrix on a substrate, depositing a color resist on the substrate and the black matrix, and patterning the color resist to form a color filter layer. The color resist has a boiling point in a range of about 70 to 80 degrees Celsius and has a viscosity in a range of about 3 to 5 centipoise and has a solid particle content below or equal to about 20 percent.
