Abstract: A locking device for a compact computer or a small computer, in particular, a personal data accessory or a palm data accessory (hereinafter referred to as PDA), is presented. The invention also includes a blocking device which is connected with the locking mechanism and is convertible between an unlocking position and a locking position, the blocking device is adapted to be locked and secured by the locking mechanism. The blocking device is adapted to be set to the locking position and resist against the incline surface of the stand so as to lock and secure the PDA with the stand.

Abstract: An ergonomically manipulated cable combination lock includes: a housing, a cable or wire having one cable end fixed in a first hole in the housing and having another cable end secured with a locking plug lockable in a second hole in the housing, a plurality of dials and sleeves rotatably mounted on a bolt in the housing, and a control device having a push button pivotally secured in the housing and a sliding actuator normally locking the plug of the cable in the housing and operatively depressing the bolt for unlocking the plug upon depression of the push button, with the plug inserted in the housing to be angularly separated from the bolt in an acute angle to provide enough space for accommodating all the relevant elements within the housing and also to allow a single-hand operation when holding the housing and depressing the push button for ergonomically unlocking the lock by a single hand of the user.

Abstract: A cable combination lock includes: a lock body (1) having a plurality of dials and sleeves rotatably mounted in the lock body, a locking bolt (2) insertable and lockable in the lock body (1), a cable (3) having a first cable end (31) secured with the locking bolt (2) and a second cable end (32) formed as a cable ring (33), and at least a fastener (4) secured on a portable computer or the other object to be locked; whereby upon insertion of the locking bolt (2) through the fastener (4) and through the cable ring (33) of the cable (3) to be locked in the lock body (1), and upon fastening of the cable (3) on a fixture, the computer or the object will be safely locked and fastened to the fixture.

Abstract: A combination lock device for floppy disk drive includes: a resembling disk member corresponding to a dimension of a floppy disk insertable in a disk drive of a personal computer having a casing formed at a front (or proximal) end of the disk member; and a combination locking device having a plurality of combination dials rotatably mounted in the casing of the disk member and operatively controlling a locking bar movably lockable or unlockable within the disk drive for locking the disk member within the disk drive when locked for preventing unauthorized intrusion in the disk drive of the personal computer or for unlocking and withdrawal of the disk member from the disk drive when unlocked.

Abstract: A resettable combination coded U-shackle lock assembly includes a cross bar lock body and a U-shaped shackle with its legs removably locked to the lock body. The lock body is disposed with a resettable combination coded locking module, a locking plate, a triggering button, and a locking plate spring. The locking plate, through its locking holes, engages the locking pins of the shackle by the biasing force exerted by the locking plate spring and disengages when the triggering button disposed on the other end of the locking plate is depressed to overcome the biasing force and causing the locking plate to move axially to release engagement with the locking pins. When the combination code is coded in locking combination, the axial movement of the locking plate is blocked by the stopping plate of the locking module and the lock is in "locked" status.
