    Abstract: Base stations of neighbor cells can coordinate with each other in allocating grant-free uplink (GUL) resources for a device-to-device (D2D) connection or channel between user equipments (UEs) across the neighbor cells. The base stations coordinate to determine a condition conducive to D2D communication between the UEs. If the condition exists, the base stations coordinate to allocate network resources for D2D communication between the UEs, and establish a D2D connection between the UEs using the allocated network resources for D2D communication.

A wireless device may receive a semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) grant of initial resources for receiving a transmission, receive, in a group control channel, a resource allocation for additional resources for receiving the transmission, determine resources for receiving the transmission based on the resource allocation and the SPS grant, and receive the transmission on the determined resources. A base station may transmit a SPS grant for scheduling a transmission on a set of resources, receive a feedback report from a user equipment (UE) indicating the UE requires additional resources for receiving the transmission, generate, based at least on the UE requiring the additional resources, a resource allocation for scheduling the additional resources for the UE, transmit the resource allocation in a group control channel, and transmit the transmission on the set of resources and the additional resources.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described to provide priority traffic grant-less access to pre-defined communication resources that are semi-persistently scheduled. A set of semi-persistent communication resources may be reserved for use by priority traffic. If the semi-persistent resources are not used for priority traffic, the semi-persistent resources may be scheduled for use by other types of traffic. As priority traffic is identified, the priority traffic may be transmitted using the semi-persistent resource without having those communication resources granted by a scheduling entity. Such grant-less access to the semi-persistent resources may result in collisions between the scheduled traffic and the priority traffic.

    Abstract: Various aspects are described for schemes that address the potential puncturing of important reference signals (RSs) for enhanced mobile broadband (eMBB) applications, such as demodulation reference signal (DMRS), channel state information reference signal (CSIRS), tracking reference signal, and general reference signal. The schemes can be used for recovery of eMBB's RS puncturing from dynamic multiplexing of ultra-reliable-low-latency communications (URLLC) and eMBB. The schemes include a block-based scheme and an over-provisioning scheme. The schemes modify an existing RS pattern before puncturing occurs in response to a presence of the URLLC traffic. In addition, there can be an option not to use (e.g., disable) time-domain orthogonal cover code (TD-OCC) for the RSs.

    Abstract: Preparation methods of a high modulus carbon fiber (HMCF) and a precursor (mesophase pitch (MP)) thereof are provided. The preparation method of MP includes: separating components with a molecular weight distribution (MWD) of 400 to 1,000 from a heavy oil raw material through size-exclusion chromatography (SEC); subjecting the components to ion-exchange chromatography (IEC) to obtain modified feedstock oil, where, the components are passed through macroporous cation-exchange and anion-exchange resins in sequence to remove acidic and alkaline components; and subjecting the modified feedstock oil to thermal polycondensation and carbonization to obtain high-quality MP with prominent spinnability. With high mesophase content, low softening point, low viscosity, and prominent meltability and spinnability, the obtained MP is a high-quality raw material for preparing HMCFs. The obtained MP can be subjected to melt spinning, pre-oxidation, carbonization, and graphitization to obtain an MP-based HMCF.

    Abstract: An IGBT device comprises a super-junction structure arranged in a drift region and formed by a plurality of N-type pillars and a plurality of P-type pillars which are alternately arrayed. Device cell structures of the IGBT device are formed in an N-type epitaxial layer at the tops of super-junction cells. Each device cell structure comprises a body region, a gate structure and an emitter region. N-type isolation layers having a doping concentration greater than that of the N-type epitaxial layer are formed between the bottom surfaces of the body regions and the top surfaces of the P-type pillars and are used for isolating the body regions from the P-type pillars. The super-junction structure and the N-type isolation layers can increase the current density of the device, decrease the on-state voltage drop of the device and reduce the turn-off loss of the device.
