  • Publication number: 20170348661
Abstract: The present invention discloses a method of quickly desorbing phosgene from a catalyst in a phosgene synthesizing tower when the catalyst in the phosgene synthesizing tower is replaced. The method is carried out by first purging out easily-desorbed phosgene from the catalyst activated carbon in the phosgene synthesizing tower with nitrogen gas, then purging with ammonia gas, and the ammonia gas is reacted with the hardly-desorbed phosgene in the catalyst of the phosgene synthesizing tower. Then the phosgene synthesizing tower is rinsed with a water gun and then dried with hot gas. The phosgene content at an outlet of the phosgene synthesizing tower after purging is below 0.5 ppm, which can significantly save the time of the phosgene synthesizing tower for purging the phosgene, greatly reduce the amount of nitrogen gas consumed, and improve the safety of the process operation.

  • Publication number: 20170347297
Abstract: Various types of communication may switch from an unlicensed spectrum to a licensed spectrum. MiCr communication may be synchronized based on transmission time intervals (TTIs), which may improve the duration required to switch between bands. A MiCr system may transmit a signal to temporarily suspend other traffic in a licensed band so that MiCr communication may occur. For example, an apparatus may be configured to determine synchronization between a first radio access technology (RAT) and a second RAT based on transmission time intervals associated with the first RAT and transmission time intervals associated with the second RAT, switch from the first RAT to the second RAT after the determined synchronization between the first RAT the second RAT; and transmit, during a TTI associated with the second RAT, a first packet using the second RAT based on the switch from the first RAT to the second RAT.

  • Publication number: 20170346609
Abstract: Traffic in a first cell may experience interference from or may cause interference to traffic in an adjacent cell, which may lead to undesirable performance in one or both of the first cell and the adjacent cell. For example, a user equipment (UE) near an edge of the first cell may experience appreciable interference based on the reuse of resources. Accordingly, for transmissions in adjacent cells over a same band or sub-band, one UE may need to reduce transmit power in order to yield to another UE in an adjacent cells. An apparatus may be configured to determine first traffic associated with a first priority and second traffic associated with a second priority. The apparatus may be further configured to assign, based on the first priority and second priority, a first set of resources to the first traffic and a second set of resources to the second traffic.

  • Publication number: 20170325117
Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure relate to methods and apparatus for allocating resources for the transmission of scheduling requests based on UE traffic profiles. In one embodiment, a base station determines, for one or more user equipments (UEs), a type of traffic to be exchanged between the one or more UEs and the base station. The base station allocates resources for the one or more UEs to use for sending a scheduling request based, at least in part, on the type of traffic associated with each of the one or more UEs. The base station signals an indication of the allocated resources to each of the one or more UEs.

  • Publication number: 20170311351
Abstract: A user equipment (UE) may, in a first discovery frame, determine whether a discovery resource is available for communication. If the discovery resource is available for communication, the UE may, in a second discovery frame following the first discovery frame, transmit a discovery signal using the discovery resource and puncture the discovery signal during a listening window. The UE may detect the energy of a received signal at the discovery resource during the listening window. The UE may abandon the discovery resource if the detected energy is above a threshold. In some example, the listening window may have a fixed duration and a beginning that is randomly selected from a predetermined set of values. In some example, the listening window may have a variable duration and an end that matches an end of the second discovery frame.

  • Publication number: 20170311225
Abstract: A user equipment (UE) may determine that a synchronous transmission by the UE includes traffic having a priority higher than a priority of nominal traffic. In response to the determination, the UE may, alter a use of at least some of an initial portion of a discovery frame from energy detection to signal transmission. The signal transmission may be a pilot signal transmission or a non-information-carrying signal transmission. The traffic having the priority higher than the nominal traffic may include mission-critical traffic. A reliability requirement of mission-critical traffic may be higher than a reliability requirement of nominal traffic. A latency requirement of mission-critical traffic may be lower than a latency requirement of nominal traffic. The signal transmission may be at a power level that is sufficient to result in energy detection at another UE. Various additional and alternative aspects are described herein.

  • Publication number: 20170142235
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A base station may perform a clear channel assessment (CCA) procedure on a channel that includes multiple sub-bands of a radio frequency spectrum band. The base station may determine that the channel is available based on the CCA and transmit a special header in the channel. In some examples, the special header may include multiple transmission time intervals (TTIs), where each TTI may include a header packet in each sub-band of the radio frequency spectrum band. In some cases, the header packet may include a clear to send (CTS)-to-self frame structure. The base station may transmit a first TTI across each of the sub-bands at a first power level, and transmit additional TTIs across the sub-bands at a different power level. Additional header packets may be transmitted at the boundaries of subsequent subframes.
