  • Patent number: 6303085
Abstract: A radical generating system integrates a bubble generating means, an ozone generating means, and a radical changing means. In the radical generating system, the bubble generating means generate air for generating air bubbles and pumping. The ozone generating means applies high voltage to the air bubbles and ozone introduced from the bubble generating means in order to produce ozone. The radical changing means changes the ozone which is introduced from the ozone generating means into a first active oxygen radical. The housing has the bubble generating means, the ozone generating means, and the radical changing means all formed integrally. The radical generating system sterilizes bacilli such as bacteria, viruses, mold, fungi, or algae which live in the water or air. The radical generating system also improves washing effect of a washing machine by oxidizing and bleaching actions of radicals.

  • Patent number: 5865047
Abstract: A pulsator, which is installed in a washing tub of a washing machine, includes a base, a post protruded upwardly from a upper surface of the base, a plurality of blades extended radially with respect to the post and outwardly the base, and protruded upwardly on the upper surface of the base, and a plurality of vanes formed on a upper portion of the post, extended radially and outwardly with respect to the upper portion of the post. The plurality of blades develop a heart-type water flow in the washing tub, and the a plurality of vanes develop a water flow at a central portion of the heart-type water flow, thereby the twisting and tangling of the laundry caused by the heart-type water flow can be minimized.

  • Patent number: 5839300
Abstract: A pulsator for a washing machine generates a vortex-type water current in a washing tub in order to wash washing articles. In the pulsator of a washing machine, a base plate is fixed to a shaft of the washing machine to be rotated according to a rotation of the shaft. A plurality of stirring blades are downwardly slanted from the center of the base plate to an outer periphery thereof in a sector form on a bottom surface of the base plate. The plurality of stirring blades define at least one concave collecting basing between adjacent stirring blades on the bottom surface of the base plate. The pulsator for a washing machine generates a vortex-type water current in a washing tub and evenly transmits a friction force generated by a washing water current to the washing articles in a state that a current of the washing water is not uniform inside the washing tub thereby minimizing the twist of washing articles and increasing washing efficiency.
