Abstract: A screw hiding device for combining lateral tubes with upright tubes includes a position strip to match with each lateral tube. Each position strip has an upright wall to contact with each upright tube and fixed together with a screw. Each lateral tube has plural holes for the upright tube to pass through, and a lower support ridge at two sides of each hole and two upper stoppers respectively on two opposite inner walls, with the distance between each upper stopper and each lower support ridge being equal to the height of the upright wall of the position strip. Each position strip is fixed on an outer surface of each upright tube with a screw and in the space between the upper stopper and the lower support ridge, with each lateral tube hiding each screw and each position strip to beautify a fence formed by the lateral and the upright tubes.

  • Patent number: 7156114
Abstract: An angle adjusting device for the canopy of a hang umbrella includes a cantilever divided into a left-sectional cantilever and a right-sectional cantilever, with a connecting plug inserted in between the interiors of the left-sectional and the right-sectional cantilever. The left-sectional cantilever is secured with one end of the connecting plug and the right-sectional cantilever fitted around the other end of the connecting plug by a tightening bolt. By so designing, the outer portion of the cantilever, which is connected with the canopy, can be rotated and adjusted in different angles. Thus, the canopy of the hang umbrella can be adjusted and turned forward and backward as well as leftward and rightward.

  • Patent number: 7149285
Abstract: A multi-unit test system performs automated and dynamically alterable, double-ended testing of telephone lines, whose service is provided on copper cable pairs. A prescribed set of (e.g., twelve) individual tests are executed either from a hand-held measurement unit, or by a central office-resident direct access test unit, or by a collaboration of the two. The hand-held measurement unit and the direct access test unit exchange FSK-based test control messages with one another that are effective to cause a selected electrical condition to be applied to a first portion of the wireline and to cause a prescribed electrical measurement to be made at a second portion of the wireline.

  • Publication number: 20060255325
Abstract: A fence includes a plurality of fence units, which consist of plural vertical rods and plural lateral rods crossingly combined with each other. A decorative strip is combined with the uppermost one of the lateral rods, by means of plural grooves of the uppermost lateral rod and hooks of the decorative strip hooking in the grooves. The two ends of the uppermost lateral rod insert in an insert hole of a side post or a connect post and screwed tightly. Then the decorative strip is combined with the uppermost lateral rod as if covered on top of the rod. So the insert holes on the upper and the lower portion of the side post or the connect post are of the same shape and size, convenient for assembling and manufacturing.

  • Publication number: 20060151019
Abstract: An electric spreading device for a parasol includes an inner tube, an outer tube, a handle and an electric motor. The inner tube has an upper end extending through a lower sleeve of a lower ring and fixed with an upper sleeve of an upper ring, with a screw having a center threaded hole fixed in a lower end of the inner tube. The outer tube fits around the inner tube to enable the inner tube to move up and down, having its upper end fixed with the lower sleeve and its lower end connected with the handle. The motor is arranged in the handle, having a threaded rod to engage the center threaded hole of the screw of the inner tube. Then the motor with the threaded rod rotates relative to the screw so that the inner tube with the screw can be moved up and down for spreading or collapsing the canopy.

  • Publication number: 20060070642
Abstract: A parasol with a light device includes a light device, a power source and a power switch respectively connected with wires. One ends of the wires are respectively connected with a male and a female connector, and the male and the female connector are possible to fit with or separate from each other. When the male and the female connector are fitted with each other, the two sets of the wires get connected with each other. If the light device is to be replaced with new one owing to disorders, first the male connector and the female connector are separated from each other, then the light device is separated from the power switch for replacing. And the power source is a chargeable battery, enabling the parasol with the light device used anywhere.

  • Publication number: 20060033093
Abstract: A possible-to-sway fence connector includes a fix base and a movable base. The fix base is fixed on a vertical side of a post of a fence, having two studs with a pivot hole at a right and a left side. The movable base has a rear convex sidewall with a horizontal pivot hole and two studs with a pivot hole. Then an end of a transverse tube of a fence is combined with the movable base in such a way that the transverse tube may sway to the right and the left side. Further, the movable base is positioned in the fix base by means of a horizontal pivot extending in the pivot hole of the movable tube. Thus, movable base can swing up and down with the horizontal pivot relative to the fix base, and the transverse tube can swing to the right and the left side so that units of a fence between two posts can be adjusted in mutual angles up and down, and right and left.
