Abstract: An apparatus for providing a mobile streaming adaptor includes a processor configured to receive media content from a remote camera, process the received media content by capturing, encoding and encapsulating the media content at a mobile electronic device, connect to a remote streaming server through function of a mobile networked device; and stream the encapsulated media content to the mobile networked device for communication of the encapsulated content to the remote streaming server through an Internet Protocol (IP) network for real-time distribution to a communication device. A corresponding computer program product and method are also provided.

Abstract: An information switch module and a related file transfer method are disclosed. The information switch module is coupled to a first and a second host. The information switch module includes a switch and a storage device, and the switch includes at least a system controller, a first and a second USB controllers and an input device connection module. The system controller uses the storage device to simulate at least two USB mass storage device, and sets up an output storage space and an input storage space in the at least two USB mass storage devices, respectively. The first and second hosts access the output storage space and the input storage space through the first and second USB controllers, respectively. After the first host stores a file into the output storage space, the system controller provides a corresponding data of the file to the input storage space for the second host.

Abstract: A network gateway device is provided, including a P2P meta-descriptor detector detecting an original P2P meta-descriptor file, a P2P proxy control unit modifying the original P2P meta-descriptor and forwarding the modified P2P meta-descriptor file to a computer, an internal tracker receiving an inquiry message and replying when receiving a response, a storage unit storing shared file segments, an emulated external P2P client loading the original P2P meta-descriptor file, and an emulated internal P2P client performing an internal inquiry procedure and a load balancing procedure, determining whether the storage unit has the shared file segments, wherein if so, the shared file segments are retrieved and forwarded to the computer.

Abstract: Disclosed is a communication routing apparatus and method via navigation system, which is applicable to mobile networks. The apparatus comprises a routing protocol mechanism and a navigation module having map information and a navigation path calculating unit therein. The routing protocol mechanism inputs the location information of a source and a destination to the navigation path calculating unit. Through the map information, the navigation path calculating unit suggests a communication route between the mobile nodes from the source to the destination. With the help of the communication route, the routing protocol mechanism handles the route discovery message, the route reply message and the route error message from the source to the destination.

Abstract: A system for real-time media communication comprises a first server unit configured to interface between at least one user and a blog and a second server unit configured to process the real-time media content in a streaming mode. The first server unit comprises a publishing control module configured to identify an identity of a publisher of the at least one user, allow the publisher to transmit real-time media content if the identity of the publisher is authentic and receive a description of the real-time media content from the publisher, and a link module configured to obtain a location of the real-time media content so that the location of the real-time media content is accessible to the at least one user. The second server unit comprises a receiving module configured to receive the real-time media content, a recording module configured to record the real-time media content, and a dispatching module configured to provide the location of the real-time media content to the publishing module.

Abstract: A system capable of facilitating a transaction over a communication network comprises a transaction platform capable of storing at least one card identification number, providing a message to a communication device over the communication network requesting the selection of one of the at least one card identification number, and receiving transaction information regarding a transaction made at a business unit from the communication device over the communication network.
