  • Patent number: 8014385
Abstract: Provided are an integrated switch and a switching method for simultaneously processing IP data and voice signals using silent periods during communication. The integrated switch provides a function of transmitting data packets using the silent periods during the communication of an existing switch subscriber, so that an existing frequency band and apparatus can be used without use of a separate frequency band and a separate apparatus for data transmission such as an existing asymmetric digital subscriber line (ADSL). In addition, efficiency of an existing switch can be increased without use of an apparatus for collecting and processing data provided in front of subscriber line cards.

  • Patent number: 8005369
Abstract: A highly precise clock synchronization apparatus in a real-time locating system (RTLS), includes an optical transmitting/receiving unit for receiving a clock information frame from a clock synchronization server, converting the received clock information frame in series-parallel, and transmitting/receiving the clock information data and the clock information; an offset estimation unit for detecting a preamble signal and a clock information signal from the series-parallel converted clock information frame, calculating a phase difference value by comparing the detected preamble signal with the detected clock information signal, and outputting an offset value based on the calculated phase difference value; and a clock synchronization unit for updating a local clock value to a time of the clock synchronization server based on the offset value and the clock information frame.

  • Publication number: 20090154672
Abstract: Provided is a path setting method of an integrated switch for simultaneously providing real-time mobility of an IP address and a telephone number. The path setting method of an integrated switch constructs an information pair of the telephone number and the IP address and transmits a voice call and a data packet using a home agent (HA) and a foreign agent (FA) for providing mobility in a mobile network easily and rapidly when a telephone terminal and an IP data terminal are moved. According to the path setting method of an integrated switch, the telephone terminal and the IP data terminal can use original addresses thereof when the telephone terminal and the IP data terminal are moved to a network area having a number system different from that of the network area to which the telephone terminal and the IP data terminal originally belong.
