  • Patent number: 10495405
Abstract: The invention relates to magazine for a toy gun, comprising: a housing having an elongated first housing portion and a cylindrical second housing portion which together define a passageway for receiving a plurality of projectiles; the first housing portion being configured for accommodating received projectiles in a substantially linear part of said passageway, and the second housing portion being configured for accommodating the received projectiles in a substantially circular part of said passageway extending about a central axis of the second housing portion; a discharge opening for discharging said received projectiles; and a resilient member arranged centrally of the second housing portion, wherein said resilient member is adapted to apply a torsional force to move said received projectiles from the circular part to the linear part of the passageway. The invention also relates to a toy gun having the magazine as described.

  • Publication number: 20190346231
Abstract: A toy gun comprises a barrel and a firing mechanism configured upon actuation to launch a projectile through the barrel or a main part of the barrel. The barrel or the main barrel part can be moved between first and second positions where the barrel or the main barrel part, when in the first position, is not in alignment with a firing mechanism such that, upon actuation of the firing mechanism, a projectile is launched from the toy gun but not through the barrel or the main barrel part and, when in the second position, is aligned with the firing mechanism such that, upon actuation of the firing mechanism, a projectile is launched through the barrel or the main barrel part. The barrel or the main barrel part, when in the first position, may act as a scope for the toy gun. In another arrangement, the toy gun comprises a reconfigurable barrel with the firing mechanism configured such that, upon actuation, it launches a projectile through one or more parts of the barrel.

  • Publication number: 20160091274
Abstract: A toy gun comprising: a housing; a plurality of projectile chambers each adapted to house a projectile, each projectile chamber being in fixed relationship with the housing; and a pumping apparatus having a delivery interface alignable with each projectile chamber in a sequence, such that when the delivery interface is aligned with one of the projectile chambers, the pumping apparatus is operable to drive air into said one of the projectile chambers via the delivery interface.

  • Patent number: 7537001
Abstract: A toy gun that uses air to launch an elongated dart having a rear bore. The toy gun barrel defines a chamber adapted to receive the elongated dart. The barrel has an inner surface which forms a restriction proximate to the second end. The restriction reduces a barrel cross-section. The barrel receives an end portion of the elongated dart therein so that the pressurized air initially pressurizes the rear bore of the elongated dart and pressurizes the chamber outside of the elongated dart between a first barrel end and the restriction as the dart is launched.

  • Publication number: 20050167441
Abstract: A toy water gun having a water supply tank which can be filled with water, and a water pump located on the housing for pumping water from the supply tank to at least one water pressure chamber. The water pressure chamber includes a fixed wall, and a moveable wall which substantially sealingly engages the fixed wall and is slidable away from a first end wall as water is pumped into the water pressure chamber and toward it as water is discharged. An air pressure chamber is located on an opposite side of the moveable wall from the water pressure chamber and is pressurizable with compressed air to bias the moveable wall toward the first end wall. A pump is connected to a selector valve assembly which, in a first state, allows air to be pumped into the air pressure chamber for pressurizing it with compressed air and, in a second state, places the pump in communication between the water supply tank and the water pressure chamber to allow water to be pumped from the supply tank to the water pressure chamber.
