Patent number: 7795775Abstract: A motor stator includes a claw-pole assembly (20), a fixing structure (10) and a sleeve bearing (60). The claw-pole assembly includes a pair of yokes (20a, 20b) each having a plurality of pole teeth (24) intermeshed with those of the other yoke. A gap (29) is defined between two neighboring teeth. The fixing structure is made of plastic material integral with the yokes by insert molding, including a connecting portion (70) contained in the gaps, a base (30) formed at an end of the claw-pole assembly, and a tube (50) extending from the base into the claw-pole assembly. The sleeve bearing is fixedly embedded in the tube during the process of insert molding the fixing structure to the yokes.Type: GrantFiled: November 15, 2007Date of Patent: September 14, 2010Assignees: Fu Zhun Precision Industry (Shen Zhen) Co., Ltd., Foxconn Technology Co., Ltd.Inventors: Chien-Long Hong, Xu Dong, Chou-Chen Shih

Patent number: 7764878Abstract: An auto-focusing camera includes a pair of drive units (100, 200) arranged back-to-back. Each one of the drive units includes a lens unit (11), a permanent magnet (12) mounted around the lens unit, upper and lower coil seats (15a, 15b) arranged at upper and lower sides of the permanent magnet, and upper and lower coils (14a, 14b) wound around the upper and lower coil seats, respectively. The upper and lower coils are used for inducing the upper and lower yokes (10c, 10d) to generate magnetic fields when electric currents are applied to the first and second coils. The magnetic fields generated by the upper and lower yokes interact with the magnetic field of the permanent magnet to drive the lens unit into movement between its focal points. The permanent magnet is fixed to and telescopes inwardly or outwardly with the lens unit.Type: GrantFiled: December 26, 2007Date of Patent: July 27, 2010Assignee: Foxconn Technology Co., Ltd.Inventors: Ching-Hsing Huang, Cheng-Fa Weng, Jen-Te Wang, Jen-Hung Chung, Chou-Chen Shih

Publication number: 20100178101Abstract: A joint mechanism includes a first rotary unit and a second rotary unit. The first rotary unit includes a base and a first joining end. The first joining end defines a first chamfered rim. The second rotary unit includes a second joining end to join to the first joining end. The second joining end defines a second chamfered rim. The first chamfered rim and the second chamfered rim cooperatively form a slanted groove. The groove communicates with an outside of the first and second rotary units and has an opening facing the base.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 26, 2009Publication date: July 15, 2010Applicant: HON HAI PRECISION INDUSTRY CO., LTD.Inventors: CHIA-PENG DAY, CHOU-CHEN SHIH

Patent number: 7697833Abstract: A two-step auto focus camera with two focal points includes a lens unit (20) and a permanent magnet (30) being fixedly mounted around the lens unit to move with the lens unit. Upper and lower coil seats (60a, 60b) are mounted around the lens unit and are arranged at upper and lower sides of the magnet, respectively. Upper and lower coils (50a, 50b) wind around the upper and lower coil seats, respectively. A circuit board (80) supplies a current to each of the coils, wherein the current to each coil has a plurality of square waves in one focusing time for the lens unit to move from one focal point to the other focal point.Type: GrantFiled: September 6, 2007Date of Patent: April 13, 2010Assignee: Foxconn Technology Co., Ltd.Inventors: Cheng-Fa Weng, Ching-Hsing Huang, Jen-Te Wang, Jen-Hung Chung, Chou-Chen Shih
