  • Patent number: 7314340
Abstract: A dual-module hole-punching and binding machine includes a housing, a first hole-punching unit, a second hole-punching unit, a pressing unit, a measurement unit, an adjustment unit and a coil piece affixing unit. The first hole-punching unit and second hole-punching unit have a first cutting unit and a second cutting unit, respectively. Either cutting unit has a plurality of cutting members, which are aligned and equally spaced and may be used to punch holes in a stack of paper. The pressing unit has an adjustment member, which may move along an adjustment rod and may be used to adjust the pressing displacement of the pressing member. The measurement unit has a plurality of notches, which are equally spaced and parallel to each other. A user may use the widths of these notches to measure the thickness of a stack of paper. The adjustment unit may be used to adjust the depth that the paper stack is placed into the machine.

  • Publication number: 20070240552
Abstract: A pressing structure for a hole-punching unit mainly comprises an axle, two wrenching pieces, a pole and two pressing pieces, wherein said axle is axially attached to a case of said hole-punching unit, with one end of said axle axially connecting to a control knob, each wrenching piece connecting to said axle near its end, said pressing piece having a spring coil disposed at its middle and pivotally connected to said pole, and said pressing piece having a pair of lapping shafts extending from a first side of said spring coil, and a pair of suppressing shafts extending from a second side of said spring coil, said lapping shaft leaning against an upper edge of said wrenching piece for said control knob to drive said wrenching piece to move synchronously, so as to let said suppressing shaft to press said hole-punching assembly and to fasten said hole-punching assembly.

  • Publication number: 20070234867
Abstract: A hole-punching assembly structure for hole-punching unit includes a positioning piece, a clamping piece, a plurality of tool holders, two balancing rods and a plurality of hole mountings. Each end of the positioning piece couples to the hole mounting via one of two balancing rods, the positioning piece has a gliding rail, a receiving slot and a confining part disposed at an indentation at each end of the positioning piece for each one of the plurality of tool holders to go through the positioning piece, thereby fixing the plurality of tool holders. Each one of the plurality of tool holders has a first end extending to one of the plurality of hole mountings and a second end being blocked by the clamping piece.

  • Publication number: 20070130747
Abstract: An improved manufacturing method for the hole-punching assembly of a hole-punching unit is disclosed. The method of the present invention comprises the following steps: (1) forming a plurality of aluminum balancing pieces with a rectangular shape by extrusion, and forming an indentation area on one side of each balancing piece; (2) forming an elongated slot by an application of stamping on the indentation area of each balancing piece; (3) obtaining a plurality of rectangular pieces (the number of which equals that of the balancing pieces), made of iron, and forming a row of holes by a single application of stamping on each rectangular piece; and (4) fitting each of the rectangular pieces onto the indentation area of a balancing piece, and connecting the balancing pieces together by screws or bolts. The manufacturing method can lower the production cost and simplify the production process of the hole-punching assembly.

  • Publication number: 20070131074
Abstract: An improved hole-punching machine is disclosed. The improved hole-punching machine of the present invention comprises a motor unit, a push unit, a compression unit and a hole-punching unit. The hole-punching unit is detachably held by a fixing unit in the machine. When the fixing unit disengages the hole-punching unit, the hole-punching unit may be taken out from the machine. The hole-punching unit comprises two balancing rods, a holes-positioning piece, two elastic pieces, a plurality of punching pieces, a first balancing piece (with a reinforcement piece), a second balancing piece (with a reinforcement piece) and a third balancing piece (with a reinforcement piece), wherein the first, second and third balancing pieces are connected together. Hence, the improved hole-punching machine of the present invention has the advantages of lower production cost, a higher efficiency in production and a higher economic value.
