  • Patent number: 12277446
Abstract: According to certain embodiments, a method comprises monitoring a request for use of memory requested by a container manager application on behalf of a given one of a plurality of containers during runtime of the given container. The method further comprises determining that the request for use of memory has caused an exception. The exception indicates that the request has requested an invalid operation on a memory table or that the request has requested a previously not seen memory table. In response, the method further comprises determining an action to perform. The action depends on both first trustworthiness information associated with the given container and second trustworthiness information associated with the given container. The first trustworthiness information is obtained from a Third Party Reputation Service (TPRS). The second trustworthiness information is obtained based on monitoring the runtime behavior of the given container.

  • Patent number: 12278855
Abstract: A live media streaming architecture facilitates live interaction among multiple participants, such as viewers and stage performers for a show. A cluster of computers is responsible for generating, transmitting, and displaying a composed live stream, such as a grid, of one group of individuals, by mixing live streams from those individuals, that will allow them to interact with a stage performer or other contributors or other individuals during an event. The architecture can support receiving the live streams at a physical location of an event or other locations for centralized redistribution.

  • Patent number: 12273601
Abstract: A live media streaming architecture with real-time live watermarking wherein watermarks are added at a frame or subframe level. The architecture can use a UDP/WebRTC architecture, without requiring a content delivery network, which is not dependent on transmitting media by segments, thus allowing insertion of the watermark at a frame or subframe level. By inserting watermarks at a frame or subframe level, latency is minimized for media delivery to under 500 milliseconds (ms) and for extraction to about five to fifteen seconds.

  • Patent number: 12126653
Abstract: In one embodiment, a service that monitors a network obtains file characteristic data of a file stored on a first endpoint in the network. The service infers characteristics of encrypted content within encrypted traffic in the network between the first endpoint and a second endpoint, by applying a machine learning-based classifier to traffic data regarding the encrypted traffic session. The service compares the file characteristic data of the file to the inferred content characteristics of the encrypted content within the encrypted traffic, to detect the file within the encrypted traffic. The service enforces a network policy in the network, based on the detection of the file within the encrypted traffic.

  • Publication number: 20240187658
Abstract: A network of orbiting satellites can be used with a distributed network of nodes to deliver live video streams from physical locations in space to Earth for distribution to viewers on client devices. The approach can include replicating a distributed network cluster in space where each orbiting satellite is a node in the network. This system allows entities to deliver low latency live video streams from cameras mounted on the spacecraft, as well as other satellites, and on the surface of the Moon and planets. The latency will depend on the communication technology used and the distance of the video source from Earth. The lowest latency can be achieved by using optical communication technology, such as laser communication. The system can distribute live streams originating in space to a large global audience through an earth-based distribution network and can support millions of concurrent online users with near real-time latency.

  • Patent number: 11972193
Abstract: Disclosed herein are a method, a system, and a computer-readable storage-medium embodiments of automatic elastic CPU for a physical verification job. An embodiment includes generating multiple commands for a physical verification job of a design. The multiple commands are related by a dependency graph. The embodiment further includes allocating an initial amount of computing resources to execute the multiple commands, queuing a subset of the multiple commands for execution based on the dependency graph, adding an estimated amount of computing resources to the initial amount based on the number of the queued subset of commands and an estimated time to complete the queued subset of commands, and releasing a portion of the estimated amount of computing resources in response to the portion of the estimated amount of computing resources being idle for an amount of time greater than a target time.

  • Publication number: 20240094683
Abstract: The techniques disclosed herein mitigate stochasticity when controlling a mechanical system with artificial intelligence (AI) agents. In some configurations, AI agents are created using data generated by a machine learning model. Stochasticity is segmented temporally into near term and long term, and different strategies are used to address stochasticity in the different timeframes. For example, long term stochasticity may be addressed with changes to the reward function used to train the model. Short term stochasticity may be addressed by applying a margin to the output of an AI agent. Example margins include window averaging, clamps, and statistical process control bounds. In one configuration, AI agents are regression brains that are generated from setpoints inferred by the model from environmental states. The limitations inherent to fitting a regression line to this data may result in some predicted setpoints being outside of an allowed range.
