  • Patent number: 10434519
Abstract: Systems and methods for separating metallically augmented non-magnetic objects are provided herein. Systems may include a conveyor for translating refuse along a path, the refuse comprising non-magnetic objects and metallically augmented non-magnetic objects, and a magnetic force generator extending along at least a portion of the conveyor and generating a magnetic force that causes the metallically augmented non-magnetic objects to remain in contact with the conveyor as the metallically augmented non-magnetic objects traverse along the path and as the non-magnetic objects are removed from conveyor.
    Type: Grant

  • Publication number: 20070207429
Abstract: An ornamental flame assembly which provides or produces an ornamental flame within a furnishing object such as a patio table or dining room table. The table has a noncombustible media recess which holds for example a layer of noncombustible stone aggregate material, sand, water, glass or other desired ornamental material. Contained within the media recess is a vapor fuel dispersion assembly. This assembly has a staging section which in one form is a bowl or cup arranged so that the top edge of the cup is held just below the top surface of the noncombustible media. Within the staging section is a vapor fuel dispersion section. This dispersion section in one form is an inverted cup which has a bottom edge which is serrated to provide for vapor fuel to pass into the inner region of the inverted cup and be distributed into the bottom region of the staging section. The dispersion assembly is fed with vapor fuel which in one form is propane.

  • Patent number: 6523957
Abstract: The invention includes a self-propelled camera dolly having a camera support unit, a drive unit, and a flexible coupling placed between the camera support unit and the drive unit. The camera support unit includes wheels and a camera. The drive unit can move in at least one of a horizontal direction and a vertical direction. The flexible coupling may include three pivots, where two of these pivots may be orientated in the vertical direction and the other in the horizontal direction to aid the movement of the drive unit.

  • Patent number: 6520641
Abstract: The invention includes a method of shooting a scene in a motion picture. A track is provided as including two outer rails and a center rail. The center rail is located somewhere between the two outer rails. The center rail includes a top, a first side, and a second side. A self-propelled camera positioning device is also provided. The self-propelled camera positioning device includes a camera support unit having wheels and a camera. The self-propelled camera positioning device also includes a drive unit coupled to the camera support unit. The drive unit includes at least one drive roller, two guide rollers positioned adjacent to the at least one roller. The guide rollers are biased against the first side and the second side of the center rail. The wheels on the two outer rails are positioned on the two outer rails. The camera support unit is moved along the track to define information of the motion. This information is stored.
