  • Patent number: 11468104
Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed including a system comprising an integrated centralized property database including a plurality of data items associated with geographic location identifier(s) indicating a particular geographic point on earth, and associated with time identifier(s) including time(s) or time period(s), indicative of a time history of an associated data item regarding the associated geographic point on earth; a computer processor, communicatively coupled with the integrated centralized property database, configured to: receive, from a user computer system, a query of a geographic location and time information indicative of the time history of an associated data item regarding the associated geographic point on earth; retrieve, from the integrated centralized property database, data items having associated geographic location identifiers matching the received geographic location and having associated time identifiers matching the received time information; and provide the retrieved data items t

  • Patent number: 11443336
Abstract: A facility is described that causes a map to be displayed to each of a number of users. From each of these users, the facility receives input in connection with the displayed map that selects a geographic location. The facility identifies one of the users who selected a geographic location closest to a target geographic location and causes a prize to be awarded to the identified user.

  • Publication number: 20210088353
Abstract: A facility creates a geographic marker describing a geographic location. The facility receives user input specifying the creation of a geographic marker at a distinguished date and time. The facility responds to the user input by determining a mobile device's geographic location at the distinguished date and time. The facility then stores its geographic location and the distinguished date and time as a geographic marker.

  • Patent number: 10671648
Abstract: A method is provided that includes storing a plurality of data items in a data aggregation system. Each of the plurality of data items is associated with one or more location identifiers indicating a particular point on the earth. The method further includes receiving, by at least one processor, a query indicating a geographic location. Data items having associated location identifiers matching the received geographic location are retrieved from the data aggregation system. The method further includes outputting the retrieved data items.

  • Patent number: 8776633
Abstract: A shifter for use with a continuously variable transmission includes a grip portion and a hub portion. Specifically, the shifter is designed for use on a bicycle, but could also be used with any light vehicle. The grip portion is characterized by a rotatable adjuster that is coupled to a cable. The cable is also coupled to a hub portion. As the adjuster is rotated, the cable is pulled, in turn rotating a pulley assembly in the hub portion. As the pulley assembly is rotated, it advances a rod within a continuously variable transmission. The rod adjusts the power adjusters as described above. The grip portion is also unique in its display of information to the rider. The grip portion includes a display showing the ratio of input to output. The display also includes a filament that curves as the ration is adjusted. A high ratio renders the filament flat while the filament takes on a steep curve as the ratio is adjusted to make riding up hills easier.
