  • Publication number: 20240071179
Abstract: A system and method for managing a game including generating a grid with a processing device. The grid is comprised of a plurality of squares defined by a plurality of rows and a plurality of columns. The method also includes establishing betting odds for each of the squares and presenting the squares and associated betting odds on a graphical user interface. The betting odds of each of the squares are associated with a likelihood of the square being established as a winning square. A winning square is designated in response to a score of a live sporting event including a digit of a score of a first team being the same as a row number of the square, and a digit of a score of a second team being the same as a column number of the square at the end of a predetermined interval of the live sporting event.

  • Patent number: 10485379
Abstract: An outdoor gas cooking system having multiple burners in which, if the individual manual control valves for all of the burners are placed on a high heat setting or some other specified or recognized activation position, a single electronic master control valve can be activated to control the total gas fuel rate to all of the burners in the cooker based, for example, upon a cooking or operational control set point or upon a target flow rate equaling the sum of the design flow rates of all of the burners at the current operating set points of the manual valves.

  • Publication number: 20180084946
Abstract: An outdoor cooking system having at least one temperature sensor which senses an internal temperature of the cooking chamber or a temperature of the cooking chamber exhaust gas stream and transmits the temperature reading to a control unit which determines whether an over-temperature condition exists and then transmits an over-temperature alert and/or reduces or stops the heat output of the cooker heating elements.

  • Publication number: 20170159941
Abstract: A portable cooker for outdoor use having one or two side shelves which can be moved to a compact upright stowage position for carrying, storage or transport and can then be deployed to a horizontal position when using the portable cooker for cooking at a campsite, at a park, on a boat, at a tail-gate party, or at any other location. In the upright stowage position, the side shelves are located outside of the cooking chamber so that the shelves do not come into contact with the cooking grate and do not pick up food particles, grease, or other cooking residues which are present on the cooking grate or elsewhere in the cooking chamber. Also, because the side shelves are not folded into the cooking chamber during carrying or transport, the portable cooker can additionally include an interior warming rack and other features which are used in “non-portable” grills but would interfere with the operation of the side shelves of the portable grill if the shelves were required to be folded into the cooking chamber.

  • Patent number: 9477984
Abstract: A system and method for a sales transaction system (STS) in a social media network is presented. The invention provides a simple way to sell and purchase products in a social media environment allowing sellers to easily set up campaigns of a group of products they wish to sell. A member of the social network simply types a purchase direction statement (PDS) that is a keyword to indicate their desire to buy a listed product. The STS detects the PDS and invoices the buyer, updating the seller as to the completed payment, and directing them to ship to the appropriate address.

  • Publication number: 20140120818
Abstract: The invention is an Attic Ventilation Turbine with Integrated Flex Blade that has a Scoop-Blade Turbine Shroud with an integrated Fan constructed within the Shroud so that ambient wind rotates the Shroud. When the Shroud rotates, the Fan is rotated along with the Shroud so that warm air within the attic is pulled out of the attic through the Turbine. The Fan is constructed with a number of flexible metal Blades that flatten as the Shroud spins faster.

  • Publication number: 20080090513
Abstract: Disclosed are apparatus and methods operable to distribute targeted content. Additionally, disclosed are corresponding apparatus and methods operable to selectively choose and cache selected ones from among the distributed targeted content, and to further choose ones from among the cached content to present on a device. In some aspects, selective caching of content may be based upon a match between predetermined content attribute information and predetermined profile information. Further, in some aspects, an indicator is operable to trigger the selective inclusion of one or more of the cached content in a presentation of other content, which may be based on a match between a desired content attribute associated with the indicator and the respective predetermined content attribute information of the cached content.

  • Patent number: 5815538
Abstract: The location of a subscriber device in a wireless cellular communications system is established by transmitting digital data signals to a cellular digital data receiver of the subscriber device from at least three different cellular cell site transmitters at known locations. Each data signal has a time-synchronized synchronization signal, preferably synchronized through the time signals of the global positioning system. The time of arrival of each of the time-synchronized synchronization signals is determined with respect to an internal clock of the receiver. The location of the subscriber device is established from the locations of the cell sites and the times of arrival of the synchronization signals relative to the internal clock.
