  • Patent number: 11946659
Abstract: Computer-implemented methods and structures deploy a heating ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) energy optimization program. A standard operating control platform (OCP) is deployed in an energy optimization control engine (EOCE) computing system communicatively coupled to a plurality of HVAC components via a building automation system (BAS). An energy optimization portal (EOP), which receives from the EOCE computing system a first data set identifying the plurality of HVAC components, a second data set including operational control parameters for each of the plurality of HVAC components, and a third data set including measured operations data associated with each of the plurality of HVAC components. The EOP generates an energy optimized operating control platform based on the first, second, and third data sets, which is automatically communicated from the EOP to the EOCE computing system.

  • Patent number: 11070058
Abstract: A method for generating a net load forecast for a utility grid, the grid including intermittent distributed energy resources and loads, comprising: defining two or more load forecast zones, each zone being associated with a load profile type and a climate zone type; assigning each of the loads to one of the zones based on the load profile and climate zone types associated with the load; assigning each of the energy resources to at least one of the zones based on the climate zone type associated with the energy resource; for each zone, generating an electrical energy consumption forecast for loads, an electric power generation forecast for energy resources, and a net load forecast from the electrical energy consumption and electric power generation forecasts; combining the net load forecast for each zone to generate the net load forecast for the grid; and, presenting the net load forecast on a display. The utility grid may be or may include a microgrid.

  • Publication number: 20180158146
Abstract: A platform is disclosed for autonomous or semi-autonomous generation of financial reports. Financial data is received from a plurality of data sources, the data sources each being connected with the computer processor, the data sources comprising one or more of a financial institution, an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, external market data, user-generated content, and external global market news and events. The financial data is then aggregated in a cloud based server platform, and then processed to automatically generate one or more financial reports, the one or more financial reports including cash positions, a cash flow forecast, a treasury management report, financial performance, and/or operational performance metrics. The one or more financial reports are delivered to a client computing device based on a selection received from a user of the client computing device.

  • Publication number: 20180027641
Abstract: An x-ray source can include a power supply and an x-ray tube. The power supply can include digital-to-analog converters (DACs) electrically-coupled between a digital controller and an x-ray tube control circuit. A user of the x-ray source can provide a digital input to the digital controller for operation of the x-ray source. Advantages of this power supply can include easy operation of the x-ray source, minimize problems in x-ray source operation due to variation between manufactured x-ray tubes, and reduced electronic noise. There can be a small distance between the DACs and the x-ray tube control circuit. The power supply electronic components can be part of a single electronic circuit rigidly-mounted together. The digital controller, the first DAC, the second DAC, and the x-ray tube control circuit can be rigidly-mounted within a housing.
