  • Publication number: 20220314559
Abstract: A composite panel manufacturing process with interlocking connections. The method includes laying out the first sheet of pre-preg epoxy carbon fiber, upon a polished and released aluminum tool. A second sheet of epoxy fiberglass is laid out over the top side of the first sheet. Rigid structural foam is laid on top of the second sheet of epoxy fiberglass. A third sheet of pre-preg epoxy fiberglass is laid on top of the rigid structural foam. A fourth sheet of pre-preg epoxy carbon is laid on top of the third sheet of pre-preg epoxy fiberglass with heavy resin/top side out to form a plurality of panels. The plurality of panels are cured to form a multilayer panel. Core material is removed along one edge of a first multilayer panel to make a U-shaped channel having a base and parallel flanges. A grooved slot is cut along one edge of the next multilayer panel. The panels are joined at the corner using an adhesive.

  • Publication number: 20160148121
Abstract: Reservations for emergency/urgent care are made by users using a queue feature that identifies earliest available reservations at nearby care facilities that are identified based on user-selected facility search parameters. The queue feature identifies the earliest available reservations based on user-selected treatment categories and facility-selected capacity characteristics for the treatment categories, and recommends a best reservation. The treatment categories can be for example adult, child/pediatric, urgent care, direct admit, walk-in, or worker's comp. And the capacity characteristics can be for example wait time, black-out period, and/or maximum number of reservations per time period. In addition, a reservation-update feature enables the care facilities to update the capacity characteristics for the treatment categories at their facilities to reflect changed conditions.

  • Patent number: 5533986
Abstract: A novel catheter apparatus for use in delivering an anesthetic agent or other fluid medicament to the portion of subcutaneous tissue through which a catheter device has been inserted into a patient, thereby allowing the catheter device to be retracted without causing pain or discomfort to the patient. The catheter device has an indwelling cannula adapted for insertion through subcutaneous tissue into a patient's body. A helical sheath is formed from an elongate band that is wrapped around the cannula in a helical fashion so as to be capable of being positioned within the subcutaneous tissue once the cannula has been inserted into the body. The helical sheath has formed therein a lumen into which the anesthetic agent or other fluid medicament can be delivered via a hub that is connected to the proximal end of the helical sheath. The helical sheath has formed therein a plurality of delivery holes that form a fluid communication path with the lumen.
