Publication number: 20240229428Abstract: A flushing system includes a recirculating unit having a pump, filter, and flow manifold. The manifold includes a first conduit delivering water to the filter utilizing the pump. A first valve divides the first conduit into first and second portions. A second conduit receives water from the filter. A second valve divides the second conduit into first and second portions. A first reverse conduit having a third valve couples the first portion of the first conduit with the second portion of the second conduit. A second reverse conduit having a fourth valve couples the second portion of the first conduit with the first portion of the second conduit. When the first and second valves are open and third and fourth valves are closed, water flows in a forward direction. When the first and second valves are closed and third and fourth valves are open, water flows in a reverse direction.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 26, 2024Publication date: July 11, 2024Applicant: NO-DES, INC.Inventor: Chris Eric Wilkinson

Patent number: 11644144Abstract: A closed conduit system is provided for use in a water supply. The system may include a recirculating unit having a pump and a filter, and first and second pig launch and recovery apparatuses. Each pig launch and recovery apparatus includes a flow tube having a first flow end coupled with the recirculating unit, an opposing second flow end mounted to a hydrant, and a main flow valve. A launch and recovery tube has a first launch end coupled to the flow tube between the first flow end and the main flow valve, and a second launch end fluidly coupled to the flow tube between the main flow valve and the second flow end. An isolated section of the water supply system is defined between the hydrants with the recirculating unit, the pig launch and recovery apparatuses and the isolated section forming a closed circuit.Type: GrantFiled: September 19, 2019Date of Patent: May 9, 2023Assignee: NO-DES, Inc.Inventor: Chris Eric Wilkinson

Publication number: 20230118899Abstract: A pig launch and recovery apparatus independently mountable to and removable from a water supply system including at least one water main and valve. The pig launch and recovery apparatus comprises a flow tube and a launch and recovery tube. The flow tube includes first and second flow ends and a main flow valve located between the first and second flow ends. The first flow end is removably mounted to a recirculating unit including a pump. The second flow end is removably mounted to a first point in the system. A launch and recovery tube further includes first and second launch ends, wherein the first launch end is fluidly connected to the flow tube between the first flow end and the main flow valve, and wherein the second launch end is fluidly connected to the flow tube between the main flow valve and the second flow end.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 19, 2022Publication date: April 20, 2023Applicant: NO-DES, Inc.Inventor: Chris Eric Wilkinson

Patent number: 11560696Abstract: A high pressure jetting system for use with a water supply system includes a recirculating unit to connect to an isolated section of the water supply system. The isolated section remains under water supply system pressure. The recirculating unit includes a filter unit and a pump unit capable of generating a circulating flow of water. A first pig launch and recovery apparatus couples a first hydrant to the recirculating unit and a second pig launch and recovery apparatus couples a second hydrant to the recirculating unit. A jetting unit including a jetting head is coupled to a jetting hose. The jetting unit enters the closed circuit through the second pig launch and recovery apparatus and travels within the isolated section. The jetting head emits a plurality of water jets to assist removal of material from an inner surface of the water mains and pipes.Type: GrantFiled: January 17, 2020Date of Patent: January 24, 2023Assignee: NO-DES, Inc.Inventor: Chris Eric Wilkinson

Patent number: 11555296Abstract: A high pressure jetting system includes a recirculating unit connected to an isolated section of a water supply system which remains under system pressure. The recirculating unit includes a filter unit and a pump unit generating a circulating flow of water. A first pig launch and recovery apparatus couples a first hydrant to the recirculating unit and a second pig launch and recovery apparatus couples a second hydrant to the recirculating unit. A camera unit including a camera and drogue chute enters through the first apparatus and travels in a flushing flow direction to the second apparatus. The drogue chute is then removed from the camera. The camera then couples to a jetting unit having a jetting head and hose and re-enters through the second apparatus. The jetting unit emits a plurality of water jets to move in a counter-current flow direction and remove material from the water mains.Type: GrantFiled: March 13, 2020Date of Patent: January 17, 2023Assignee: NO-DES, Inc.Inventor: Chris Eric Wilkinson

Patent number: 11542177Abstract: A closed conduit system for use in a water supply system includes a recirculating unit configured to connect to an isolated section between a first point and a second point of the water supply system. The recirculating unit includes a first filter unit defining a first closed circuit including the isolated section and adapted to perform a first treatment. A second filter unit defines a second closed circuit including the isolated section and is adapted to perform a second treatment. At least one pump is capable of generating a flow of water through the first and the second closed circuit, and a valve selectively controls flow through either the first or the second closed circuit.Type: GrantFiled: January 17, 2020Date of Patent: January 3, 2023Assignee: NO-DES, Inc.Inventor: Chris Eric Wilkinson
