    Abstract: A combination microwave and cooktop has a transparent lid that is movable between a closed position where the lid overlays burners and an open position that exposes the burners. The microwave is located inside an enclosure that affixes the microwave through apertures in a bottom wall of the enclosure. A front trim bezel surrounds the front of the microwave and is affixed to the enclosure. Airflow for ventilation around the microwave is accomplished through vents in the rear wall of the enclosure and apertures in a top portion of the front trim bezel.
