  • Publication number: 20240430650
Abstract: In various embodiments, zero touch provisioning (ZTP) in a cloud based 5G system are provided. In some embodiments, the ZTP includes receiving a request to perform ZTP on the component in the 5G system; generating a ZTP request based on the request; obtaining a ZTP payload according to the ZTP request; determining one or more ZTP operations based on the ZTP payload; determining instances of the component in the 5G system for the ZTP operations; distributing the ZTP payload to the first and second instances of the component in the 5G system to carry out the ZTP operations; determining one or more results of the ZTP operations; generating feedback information based on the one or more results of the ZTP operations.

  • Patent number: 8885626
Abstract: A system for providing a mobile data service to a mobile device over a fixed wireless data network comprises an enterprise network having a WLAN. An enterprise Mobile Access Controller, configured to provide IP connections to the enterprise network and mobile devices, coupled between the enterprise network and a Mobile Wireless Data Network. The enterprise Mobile Access Controller is further coupled, via a first IPTN, to an enterprise Mobile Signaling Gateway resident in the MWDN. Additionally, the enterprise Mobile Access Controller is coupled, via a second IPTN, to an enterprise Mobile User-plane Aggregator configured to provide IP connections to the Mobile Wireless Data Network. The enterprise Mobile Access Controller is further configured to receive a first control-plane data from the enterprise Mobile Signaling Gateway, via the first IPTN, wherein the first control-plane data at least provides configuration and management instructions to the enterprise Mobile Access Controller.

  • Publication number: 20130265997
Abstract: A system and a method for providing a mobile data service to a mobile device over a fixed wireless data network wherein the system comprises an enterprise Mobile Signaling Gateway coupled to a Public Land Mobile Network, an enterprise Mobile Access Controller resident within the fixed wireless data network. The system further comprises an enterprise Mobile User-plane Aggregator coupled to 1) the Public Land Mobile Network, 2) the fixed wireless data network and the enterprise Mobile Signaling Gateway. The enterprise Mobile Signaling Gateway at least establishes an IP tunnel to the enterprise Mobile Access Controller, determines whether a mobile device coupled to the Public Land Mobile Network is registered, directs the establishment of multiple IP tunnels between the mobile device and the network elements of the system, and directs pathways for communicating user-plane and control-plane data between trusted or untrusted transport networks.
