  • Publication number: 20120137334
Abstract: A home media server includes a processor, a storage medium; and machine-readable code, stored on the non-transitory storage medium, the non-transitory storage medium includes instructions which when executed, cause the home media server to receive downloadable instructions, an edited set of data and analysis data. The downloadable instructions, when executed by the processor cause the home media server to search for and obtain media content associated with an edited video program. The instructions also cause the home media server to receive the edited set of data corresponding to editing steps for assembly of the edited video program, and to emulate assembly of the edited video program utilizing the media content obtained by the home media server to created an emulated video program.

  • Publication number: 20050213836
Abstract: A method of JPEG compression of an image frame divided up into a plurality of non-overlapping, tiled 8×8 pixel blocks Xi. A global quantization matrix Q is determined by either selecting a standard JPEG quantization table or selecting a quantization table such that the magnitude of each quantization matrix coefficient, Q[m,n] is inversely proportional to the aggregate visual importance in the image of the corresponding DCT basis vector. Next a linear scaling factor Si is selected for each block, bounded by user selected values Smin and Smax. Transform coefficients, Yi, obtained from a digital cosine transform of Xi, are quantized with global table Smin Q while emulated the effects of quantization with local table Si Q and the quantized coefficients Ti[m,n] and global quantization table Smin Q are entropy encoded , where Smin is a user selected minimum scaling factor, to create a JPEG Part 1 image file.

  • Patent number: 6306080
Abstract: A disposable penile constriction device and associated methods are provided. The disposable penile constriction device preferably includes a strip of bendable and stretchable material formed in a closed band shape when in a closed position so that inner surface peripheries of the strip of material substantially surround and abuttingly contact outer surface peripheries of a proximal portion of a penis when positioned thereon and a preformed predetermined tear region formed in the strip of material which readily allows tearing of the strip of material by the hand of a user so that the closed band shape is separated to an open position and the strip of material can be readily removed from a proximal portion of a penis without the necessity of moving the strip of material over a distal end of a penis.

  • Patent number: 6206403
Abstract: There is disclosed a snowboard binding system for a soft style snowboard boot. The snowboard binding system includes a base plate mounted to the snowboard and a toe strap unit, a heel loop, and a highback mounted to the base plate. Mounted to the heel loop is a secondary strap device which wraps around the back of the boot. Wrapping over the top of the boot is the ankle strap unit which is mounted to the secondary strap device. The secondary strap device and ankle strap have a plurality of adjustment holes for selective adjustment of the binding for greater support or for more flexibility. The secondary strap device works in conjunction with the ankle strap to provide better heel hold to the snowboard, thereby resulting in enhanced snowboard performance. The secondary strap device also reduces the pressure exerted across the top of the boot from the ankle strap resulting in better comfort.
