The post regulator includes a transistor circuit coupled to the output bus of the power converter, and further includes a controller configured to receive the bus voltage and control the transistor circuit to alter an output voltage of the post regulator for a period of time to enhance a slew rate of an output current and/or the output voltage of the post regulator from a first level to a second level.
