Abstract: The invention relates to color sample device for showing color information of a color sample, having a substrate element for carrying the color sample, the color sample having at least one display surface, which displays the color of the color sample, and which is connected and arranged at the substrate element, a data storage device, which contains color information data, which is machine-readable and which is configured for a wireless reading of the color information data from the data storage device by the data processing apparatus according to the invention. The invention also relates to a method of production and the data processing apparatus.
