  • Publication number: 20160215112
Abstract: Blends of a single site catalyzed polyethylene copolymer and a low density homopolymer having a melt strength from about 2.5 to about 8.0 cN as determined by the Rosand Constant Haul Off method, a melt index of less than 10 g/10 minute and a flexural modulus between about 206 MPa (30,000 psi) and about 620 MPa (90,000 psi) are suitable for use in the manufacture of foams.

  • Patent number: 6225992
Abstract: An apparatus and method is provided for generating a set of bias voltages for a liquid crystal display (LCD) driver to drive an LCD panel. This apparatus and method are directed to solving the problems of excessive use of I/O pads and power consumption in conventional LCD drivers and also the problems of the non-matching between externally connected resistors and the internal resistance in conventional LCD drivers. Further, externally connected capacitors for increasing bias current in conventional LCD drivers are not needed. The apparatus and method is capable of switching a bias current to a top level which causes a voltage divider to provide adequate bias voltages to the LCD driver at each instant when the LCD waveforms are being switched from one state to another, and to a bottom level when the LCD waveforms are at steady states so as to reduce power consumption to save energy.

  • Patent number: 6148373
Abstract: A method and device for increasing memory utilization using a central processing unit with a Harvard architecture, and by putting speech data into the program memory, that is, putting both the program and the data into the same program memory, memory which is normally wasted by internal instruction is now conserved. Furthermore, no changes are required in the hardware of the central processing unit except for some minor changes to the external circuits, so the original central processing unit can be immediately used for the fabrication of prototypes and programs can be developed faster benefiting market expansion.
